    Bought the same backpack over 4 years ago. Worked like a champ until I routinely overstuffed it and shoved it repeatedly under airline seats. One zipper finally gave and started to create one hole. Not bad at all for the years of difficult, routine use. The new is excellent as well and they have improved the pack by adding some thoughtful divisions and pouches. Well worth the money.

    I wanted a bag that has lots of pockets & roomy as I do Home Health care, so have to carry many supplies as well as my laptop. I was using 2 different bags before. I can now carry everything in my Swiss Gear bag. Love it.

    It appears to be very durable. I use it every day, and it has held up well. The only bad side is that it is almost not enough room for my notebooks (paper ones - not computers) as well. I have to carry a second bag for textbooks.

    Asus 17 inch laptop does not fit in primary storage sleeve - but does just barely fit into the actual primary pocket where the padded storage sleeve is. Other than that the product is well made with lots of extra storage pockets.
