    After only 6 months of normal student use, the black material frayed and pulled from the seams all around this backpack and the straps. Over the course of three weeks, I wrote twice and sent pictures to SwissGear customer service, asking them to honor their 5 year guarantee and send a replacement. They have yet to respond. This backpack is too expensive for this type of nonsense... save yourself the time, trouble and expense.

    A great product from Swissgear. The back pack is good looking in design as well as the shape. It stands on its own and has lot of protection from sides and back.

    The one thing that I didnt agree with backpack is side bottle sleeve doesn't have reinforcement to hold bottle in place.

    So far it's a good backpack. Plenty of pockets, nothing I'd disagree with besides maybe not being perfect for TSA checking. The only thing to note is that it's not quite large enough for at least an older Alienware 17 laptop, at least in the part you can strap in.
