I travel internationally once a month and this backpack has turned out to be a great change from my former traditional briefcase-style laptop case (also a Wenger/Swiss Gear model!). The pocket design and placement is very intuitive, offering a passport/document/cellphone pouch on top, side pockets for a power supply, water bottle, toothbrush, etc. The laptop area holds both a 13" laptop and my iPad, and internal pockets keep my power cords, earbuds, international adapters and cables well organized. The document area holds full size file folders, magazines and a mindless novel . And the main area allows me to throw in an extra shirt, snacks and necessities for long airport layovers. Its all padded well and easy to slip on, comfortable to wear and appears to be well built with strong materials, seams, zippers, and handles. My usual bags last only a year, but my guess is that this will last quite a bit longer!

I love this backpack. All of my kids have one for their laptops and school use purposes and I even use one for work when I travel. They are very durable and have lots of pockets and features that make them awesome.

This is a great backpack. It has a large capacity, and there are compartments for everything. It is very comfortable to carry. I am 5'2" and walk more than a half mile up and down hills between my hotel and office. This backpack has made the walk much more enjoyable.

I am pretty picky about my carry on luggage. It has to be fashionable. I got this backpack as a gift and almost donated it...until I had to take a long trip across country and needed to take both my big Mac Pro and my personal macbook air. I added both. Then I wanted to see if I could get all my toiletries in there. Check. And writing pads and books to read. Check. And small purse with girl stuff (money, cards, lipstick, lotion, etc.). Check. Snacks. Check. A workout band. Check. Still room left. Check. Was it super heavy all loaded? Oh yes, check. But I'd set the bag on a chair, sit in front of it, and put my arms in. Once on my back, so effortless. This is my new winner for travel. Fits under seat.

Great rugged backpack with plenty of room. When I travel, I carry this on my flights and stick it under the seat.

It doesn't fall over. It has a lot of pockets that don't expand - true to form. Lightweight and extremely comfortable. Fits perfect in overhead compartment or under the seat of an airplane. Only some of the pockets have dual zippers - unable to meet in the middle for closing. It would be better if there was an strap in the back to easily sling on a rollerbag if not carried as a backpack.

Prior to purchasing this backpack I had a briefcase still bag for carrying my laptop and documents to my customer sites. It had just one strap to throw over my shoulder so the weight was carried by one side of my body. With the backpack the weight is evenly distributed so my back is straight and I no longer have back aches. I also like the number of compartments and the size of each for distributing my laptop, paper documents, power suppliy, phone chargers, airline tickets, and travel receipts.

This pack is worth every penny of it's price. The design is solid and there are compartments for all of my belongings (including devices and cords) that are easily accessed. It's also comfortable to wear.

This is a must-have computer tote that exceeds all expectations for capacity and comfort. Thought I could use a satchel style tote, but required extra space provided by the Swiss Gear - Synergy Computer Backpack.

I recenty changed jobs and my new job included a company issued laptop and mobile phone. I had a nice briefcase but having 3 seperate cases was too much to handle. This backpack stores my laptop, the contents of my briefcase, my mobile phone, and still has room for my e-reader and an MP3 player. I ride a commuter train so having everything in 1 case that I can sling over my shoulder is just what I needed. This was not the least expensive backpack BestBuy had - but it's worth it!

This backpack provides lots of storage space and provides protection for my macbook pro. I am able to put all of the supplies I need in it and still have room for more. LOVE IT!

I bought this bag when they first came out 8 years ago and only now getting ready to buy my second one. I'm an aircraft mechanic who flies all over the world on both large and very small aircraft. This bag has been a trusted durable friend with well over a million miles traveling. The backpack has been soaked from rain ( Yet kept everything dry ) from Typhoons , beat up by baggage handlers and taxi drivers. I carrier with me to work daily. After 8 years the threads are finally showing wear and its time for a new one. Trust me, the old one will not be thrown away and will remain in family use.

I love it! Is is very roomy and and has lots of cushion that protects the laptop. I’ve been wanting this backpack for awhile and it finally was advertised at a good price. I recommend this backpack if you have to travel with your laptop often.

Love this bag. Very durable, lots of storage areas, and looks great. The only thing I would like changed would be one large area seperated from one smaller area for the laptop. Instead its a medium sized area, and another seperate medium sized area with a lap top pouch and connects to the other pocket underneath.

I considered the Synergy Backpack or the traditional laptop suitecase and hands down I went with the Synergy. I love the design of the backpack; its really attractive. It fights my 15.4 HP perfectly and protects it well with good amount of padding. A drawback could be that it has too many compartments so it'll take a couple of days to get use to it. It fits all of my books and binder perfectly. It can also hold my water bottles very good. The Synergy BackPack also has a Stablizer which means that it can stand on it's own two feet. The backpack is a bit on the heavy side and kind of big. It doesn't bother me as much after all it fits all of my belongings so it's going to be kind of big and heavy. I like The Synergy backpack it's all-in-one. Some people may not like this type of style, however I find it that it suites me perfectly. I definitely recommend The Swiss Gear Synergy backpack. Enjoy!

Well I bought this backpack to replace another one I had used for many years and was very strong and easy to use. Of course that a Swiss Gear product has a embed promisse of quality and durability. But what really made me choose this back is the lots of different places where I can organize my stuff. And specially when I travel I carry on a lot of stuff, electronic stuff. That said, I have to recognize that so far the replacement has been better than the replaced unit. I may miss the lateral opening I had before but most of the times the use that I do is the regular (top) one.

large backback with many pocket to carry much! So far is holding up better than many others I have had. Definitely recommend!
