Good design but poor materials
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the pack for about 6 months. The bottom is plastic coated fabric. After a couple months the plastic started pealing off. I've had a couple seams fail. The nylon fabric unravels and the seam comes apart. I like the design. It holds everything I need and more. I just wish it was made from better materials.

Some parts of bag are low quality!

The rings cracked within the first few weeks of use. I use the bag to transport computer and iPad to and from work which is relatively light duty. i would either eliminate the plastic ring or redesign them to provide additional strength.

Piece of junk

My first time picking it up with the laptop in it, all the stitching tore out of the shoulder strap. Then one of the zippers broke apart. By the time I got home, it was outside of Best Buy's return period, so I'm left holding the (worthless) bag.

Poor Quality - Warranty Program Is Worthless

The warranty team would not replace it because I did not have the original receipt. I showed them my credit card statement for the purchase, but they will only do warranties with the ORIGINAL receipt. Who keeps a receipt for an $80 backpack? I WILL NEVER BUY A SWISS GEAR PRODUCT AGAIN!

Looked like a great backpack until...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Backpack seem to have almost everything I wanted, enough pockets for my photo gear, laptop and some sailing gear, good padding and then I started using it. The Synergy does not have any sternum straps so the bag constantly slides off your shoulders and back making the backpack useless. Design should not come at the price of function. I'll have to find a way to rig a sternum strap
