The Switch lite was a very good gift for my 6 year old granddaughter. Works great easy for her to use.

I’ve had a lot of fun playing with the Switch. It’s perfect for someone like me who’s a pretty casual gamer but also had delusions of being with the cool kids— only we’re all in our thirties and Animal Crossing is more available than therapy during a pandemic. The Switch has helped me get through this quarantine and I really like it. The battery life is superb and the colors are great. The screen is big enough for me and I love how easy it was to learn the controls.

At $200 the Switch Lite lands at almost exactly the MSRP of the original GameBoy ($90 in 1990). I bought a GameBoy in 1991 and was immediately a huge fan. The Switch Lite doesn't feel any way near as groundbreaking as the GameBoy was, but IMO it is its direct descendent. While I have a few gripes about the gamepad controls, (not as comfortable as 3DS) and limitation to handheld games-only, the Switch Lite is still a great platform with adequate games to choose from. Without the concerns about controls and handheld-only limit this would be 5 stars without question, but for the price it is still a great product.

My son's purchased this Nintendo Switch for me as a present. I use my ipad for many of my games, but it is big to travel with. This is just the right size and fits in my package without weighing it down. I am not a heavy gamer, but I like to use it to relax and take my mind off of work, etc. Battery has a pretty good life. I only have 1 game so far and plan on looking at a few more. I think it's a great gift...a little pricey but so is everything else.

I bought this for my kids after they used my original Switch and liked it so much. It fits their hands way better and I like that the controls are built in. This is where the Gameboy has gone and I love it. We purchased a separate Switch cover, screen cover, and carry case to help protect it more from small hands accidently dropping it. This also helps them get a better grip when playing.

Love this for my daughter. She enjoys playing it and the size is perfect for her since she’s only 5.

I've had a Nintendo Switch since it came out. I have only used it in handheld mode, however it always end up giving me hand cramps due to the odd size and weight. When the Nintendo Switch Lite came out I just had to have it. No regrets. The size is perfect. It is super lightweight, the color looks even better in person, and it does not give me hand cramps. On top of this, the Best Buy service was phenomenal. I pre-ordered my device and it arrived on release day just as expected! Very happy.

The Nintendo Switch lite is excellent at all. My son plays and enjoy all the time. It is the same experience of the complete version of the Nintendo Switch at less cost. Even there is not as versatile as the original and complete Nintendo Switch version, he uses and enjoy the games exactly in both NS! If you are considering that must of the time you (your son or the person will be playing) will not need to remove the controls, that is the right NS option for you!. We love the colors too!

I bought this as a gift for my son. He loves it! I like that it was delivered ahead of the expected delivery date. Everything came ahead of time and packaged perfectly. I also received an email and text updates so I was able to keep track of my order. I especially like how you can set parental controls on the switch lite. I can monitor the games that he is playing, downloading, and even the duration that he's on it. This is a great product!

Its great! I gifted this to someone but have one of my own and I love it, perfect time killer.

Super quick delivery, got it as a gift and the brother loves it! Lightweight and definitely easy to handle. He did buy some additional accessories to got with it, but as a unit itself, it was a great fit for him. Was going to buy him the actual console with dock, but he preferred handheld.

I love it. Play it on my lunch break lol. Animals crossing is my go to.

This purchase would make our 3rd of this device. For the price, I'm very pleased with the graphics, controls, and game options. While the device overall is good the battery life is lacking and could be improved but it is very durable in the hands of children. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase and device.

I have a Nintendo Switch already but I wanted something a bit more portable for games like Animal Crossing and Disney Dreamlight Valley. It's definitely feels nicer in the hand than the standard Switch. I was worried initially that I didn't need a second Switch but I'm glad I got it.

Much easier to handle and more robust. Even though the weight is technically only about 25% lighter—- it feels about 50% so. The screen is smaller but I really didn’t notice a difference yet with gameplay but will update in about a week. Apart from that it’s the perfect gaming console for on the go or even at home. Much easier to hold for hours at a time. Better internet connection and faster downloads than the original switch somehow though specs are the same.

My daughter loves this! It’s just right for her age (7yo). Over a year later, and everything still works.
