Very nice upgrade from a gen 1 switch. The screen is very high quality. I would compare it to an iPhone or iPad screen. Speakers are definitely louder. Improved kickstand is great, I was always accidentally popping out the kickstand on my old switch. The dock includes an Ethernet port now, which is great for downloading digital versions of games, and an additional USB port. Overall, it’s a nice slight upgrade that should hold you over until the next generation switch.

I had the original switch and i upgraded to the OLED with little apprehension. I mean if you look at the comparison its the switch with more memory and a slightly bigger/better screen. However i still fell in love with this console bc i spend most of my gameplay in handheld mode and it has made a world of difference. If you find yourself playing mostly in handheld mode it is very much worth the upgrade!

Bigger screen and better graphics than the previous version. Portable and connects to tv! Highly recommend.

After discovering how much fun it is to have local multiplayer with friends after years of using PlayStation, I went out and promptly got my own switch. I won't pretend it's as powerful as other current generation consoles, but the games are designed to be less intensive to run and the fun factor makes up for any hardware deficiencies. I am personally not of the opinion that OLED displays make enough of a visual difference to be worth the extra price, especially with such a small screen. However, I do still recommend this model just because the screen size is larger. You will also want to get an sd card for additional storage space if you play many games.

I bought this as an upgrade to the launch Nintendo Switch I've had for years. The OLED is a nice improvement, but most importantly the battery life has been extended. Beyond that; however, I haven't noticed many other changes. I don't know if I'd necessarily recommended buying this Switch as a replacement, but if it's your first Switch than I'd certainly opt for the OLED model.

I purchased the Nintendo switch mainly for the gorgeous but slightly low res OLED display. The Switch brings me back to my childhood while growing up playing Mario brothers with friends. I use my exclusively handheld and have a Skull and Co. grip attached at all times in their slim carrying case. I can game on the go while I have time while on break and after work. The ability to just fire it up quickly anywhere is the killer feature.

It may not seem like a huge upgrade from the original version, but the bigger, brighter screen really does make all the difference. While I wish Nintendo had gone the 4K route like all other consoles, my hours of playtime hasn't been affected. It may seem insignificant, but one of my favorite features is the new kickstand. No longer is it the tiny, spring loaded, thin piece, but it's now half the backside of the screen and seems very secure and sturdy.

Screen is a huge improvement over the non-OLED version. Holy cow! If you play without a TV this will be a significant improvement. The kickstand is also way better and the Switch won’t fall over all the time. If you only play docked to your TV then there’s really no need to get this model. The white joy-cons and dock are actually not that nice looking, unless you’re painting them or using skins. That’s just my personal opinion because I prefer the other colors.

Bought this for my son for Christmas, and it was definitely his favorite gift. The OLED screen is larger and clearer than the older Switch, and having the option to play handheld or on the tv with multiple players is a win for everyone. The controllers work great. Everything in the package was in new condition and worked properly. Very excited to download some classic Nintendo games!

The switch came with everything advertised in working condition without any issues. I had it shipped to me didn't experience any problems. Everything was great the screen, controllers, and stand all there. Nothing seems to be amiss and was what I was expecting. My teenage son didn't have any complaints and we all can relate that's next to impossible to achieve so I am extremely happy and satisfied with the product.

I upgraded to this OLED model from my original Nintendo Switch that served me well for the last several years. While there's no noticeable gain in performance, the OLED display is stunning and fits the form factor of the Switch perfectly. The minimal bezels truly help to immerse you in your games. If you play mostly in handheld mode like I do, you should consider upgrading. If you play mostly docked, then there really isn't much here for you. Highly recommended!

So if you already have a Switch I don’t know that this would be a substantial upgrade but if you are primarily a handheld player and we’re on the market for a new one this is a great pick up. Sound is more vibrant and the games look crisp. Deeper blacks and brighter output. Kickstand is much better and adjustable and the joy cons have a sturdy click to them. Just beware some previous accessories do not fit the Oled model. So do your homework before buy any extras.

Absolutely love my Nintendo switch I’ve had a for a couple years now and play it all the time. Amazing gift for game lovers.

As someone who already owned a switch, my expectations are a little skewed. I chose to upgrade because my battery life in handheld mode wasn't living up to my usage with my old switch and for that purpose the OLED is leagues better already. The screen is amazing of course but that's in the name. Otherwise it's the same switch we know and love

While maybe it wasn't the best choice to change my original Switch for the OLED Model, I must say I was still pretty amazed. I didn't expect the screen to look that much better, and the new kickstand is probably my favorite part. The LAN port in the dock is also a great addition although I don't use it often. The only problem is I wish they had brought at least some small improvements to overall performance, resolution and graphics capacity. In the end, I would recommend the Nintendo Switch OLED Model mainly to those who want a Switch and don't have one already, as it IS the best version of the console, but it might not be worth upgrading from another Switch for most people.

I love the Switch OLED, If you're a Nintendo fan this is 100% the console for you. Its portability is great and truly makes the OLED screen shine. I also got the 2-year plan along with it, which makes me feel safe that if something happens to the console it will be fixed.

Had to get this console as other one was sold out. While very expensive for an older console, the Oled version looks great and plays great.

I held off on purchasing a Nintendo Switch for a while. I was hoping to get a PS5 or Xbox Series X (is that what the new one is called?), but I'll be retired by the time one of those surfaces. So, I decided to grab a Switch OLED unit instead and I am very happy that I did. The games I have purchased so far are a lot of fun, the screen is good-sized and the games look fantastic. Plus, I love that playback isn't restricted to one's television set.

First switch and im very impressed with the system. Originally got it for my daughter but she didnt used it and i took it whime out in training and glued to it since. Graphics are clean, screen shows bright, processor speed is awesome.
