Haven’t even owned this product 2 weeks yet. Bought it for a road trip for my daughter to watch movies on. First the sound quit working, then it started scratching and ruined the brand new DVD we bought and played for the first time in the machine, and now it won’t even turn on at all. On my way to return this product to the store now.

This DVD player worked great for about 30 days. The latch on the dvd holder stopped working and now has to be taped shut for it to work. We purchased the protection plan after being told it would continuously replace the player if it broke. This was incorrect. The protection plan will replace it ONCE and then you have to purchase the plan again. We were told to contact the manufacturer for warranty. The manufacturer does not include any contact information in the literature provided and it took days of googling and calling wrong numbers to have an email sent for warranty. The hoops you have to jump through are ridiculous and you are not able to speak with a representative. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and thought “it can’t be that bad”. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this product and all other products made by this manufacturer

DO NOT BUY SYLVANIA PRODUCTS!!! Sylvania only warranties portable DVD products for 90 days and that is how long it lasts. I bought this at Best Buy and they told me I would have to call the company. They were NO help. They do not care about their customers. I called 6 times and got the run around each time. Awful customer service!!! Unfortunately, I did not know it was only warranted for 90 days. Electronics are usually 1 year warranty. I WOULD NOT have spent $100 dollars on this product, if I had known it was only warrantied for 90 days. I would have given 0 stars if i could, but it wouldn't allow that.

It lasted 3 years. The screen of one ot them broke.

Purchased in Oct. 2018 - the support ring broke after a few days, the strap wouldn't stay flat so the screen always slumped down, the fold-out prop snapped off the back, and the screen fell in on the other unit. Horrible quality - so cheaply made. Customer service was useless after requiring all documentation and photographs except my blood type and mother's maiden name. I was out $130 because of "physical damage to the unit." AKA - cheaply made, throw-away product. Buyer beware.

I purchased this in October of last year. Didn’t actually start using them until around February. It is now August and they have stopped working!! Won’t read a disc. Just says no disc and come to find out there is no manufacturer warranty so I threw away $120 bucks and my baby hates car rides with out it!!

I got this for my children for Christmas. I barely bumped the cord from the front seat while trying to hand my child something and the audio jack fell out 2 hours into an 18 hour trip. Needless to say my children were pretty disappointed for the rest of the trip and the return trip.

within 2 months of purchase, the strap holder broke on both players and would not hold strap to the seats. have to hold the player in lap to watch

This DVD player was a great buy, but it didn’t work. It’s like the iris wouldn’t read the discs. Will be taking it back.

Mine stopped working and it hasn't been a year. I want my money back. That's $120 down the drain.
