There's only a couple of things we don't like. One is the display is not vibrant. It's kind of dull. Second is the noise that the DVD player makes while running. You don't notice the noise once your DVD starts playing.

Sometimes, though, if I use the off button on the remote it will not play the disc when I power on. Instead I have to switch discs. Other than that, has been fine.

Replacement for a lost unit.

I read reviews about this Sylvania player and was not disappointed. Sharp picture, good sound and reliable. The only negative is the hefty weight of the unit. I would make this purchase again without hesitation.

Nice portable DVD player

This player has so many nice features. You can charge the battery and then carry it anywhere - no need to be near an outlet. The screen pivots so you can reduce glare. It is also easy to use. I am not a techie kind of person and there are a lot of features that I do not use, but this is a nice DVD player for everyone.

Fun way for dad to watch movies when traveling

The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is that it suddenly stopped working. Thank goodness for GEEK SQUAD. (Seriously buy it. EVERY TIME) It could be a little louder, volume wise.

Great for exercise videos

This portable dvd player is great! The view is crisp and clean. I can take it with me anywhere and still play my videos to exercise. I reviewed many of these before buying and am glad I bought this one. I haven't used it with kids in the car, so I don't know how it would perform while in motion.
