I have owned portable DVD players before and this one was the best choice since I want to be able to have something that travels but not just for in a car. I don't have kids and did not need one that has two screens. This one will be perfect for just watching movies without carrying my heavy laptop.

Operates for about 5 hours on a full charge, which his basically a drive across the state of Nevada. It will also operate while plugged in and charging. Connecting to a big screen TV via the supplied RCA jacks also works well, both sound and picture - the remote is handy for this purpose.

Purchased for car trip with granddaughters. Set on front seat console so both could view. Plugged audio (cable not included) to car radio. Has a long battery life.

Have only been using for about a month now, but functions as expected. Picture quality is good, and easy to use. Used by kids for watching instructional videos daily. Still working well, but personal DVD players seldom last more than a year or two with as much use as they get with our kids.

Great for the price. We bought this to take along on weekend trips to keep the kids busy. It keeps them happy. Now the only problem is getting them to agree on which movie to watch.

Picked up fur a camping trip. First one was stuck on loading and would not play DVD. Return that same day with no hassle and got same player. The newer one working fine in the tent.

A friend had an older model of this device. We used it on road trips and it worked well so I decided to purchase one of my own. This newer model has a nice geometric design on cover and swivel motion allow for great range of viewability when needed.

I recently purchased this product for a long road trip and it worked out wonderfully. It was easy to use and had a decent battery life. It also had a car charger adapter.

I gave this as a gift to a friend who has hundreds to DVDs. When he isn't busy at work he can watch movies and the device works well for that purpose. He actually lets customers watch as well. He enjoys it almost daily and it replaced an older device with a smaller screen that has worn out.

Pretty basic but it get's the job done and is a good price. If you need a portable DVD player, this is the way to go. It would have been nice if it also did blu-rays though...

I have tried using other DVD players, but ended up donating them or giving them to family members. However, I like this one because it has a remote and it is very easy to pause and read the screen. I would definitely recommend this portable player if you like the ease of using a DVD player.

I can't give it 5 stars since I haven't used it yet..i tested it and it works great but I will see how well it works when I travel from the east coast to the west coast

Very tough little DVD player with excellent graphics and volume control. Highly recommend!!

It had all the features that I knew I wanted and some that I didn't even know I was going to come to appreciate. Doing my research on line before coming into the store was key and even saved me a bit of money because the on line price was $10 lower than the store price.

Bought this to help entertain grandkids while we drive for long distances. It works well. Not the clearest picture but does the job for what it was bought for.

An elderly woman (neighbor) needed a way to watch movies from her bed without any "TV service". This seemed to be the answer to me and it turns out she is quite happy and grateful for the gift. I am blessed to see her smile and the ease of use made it all the better.

I like the DVD player and would have given it more stars, however, the noise it makes when switching from section to section is a little loud, scratchy sounding. Other than that it seems to work well.

I bought this as a road trip item for my daughter. She was very pleased with the how it worked as compated to the last one we owned. Excellent battery life.

I like to make DVDs occasionally from my video camera. I use the player to take to show them to friends, or I have the battery charged well in advance of an oncoming hurricane to have a few hours of entertainment while in a power outage.

I like the way you can change the angle of what you are viewing. The lightweight construction makes it easy to pop in your carry on and go out the door.
