It runs very quietly, is light and has a clear, crisp screen. The only drawbacks are that it isn't bluray, it does not stop playing when you close the screen and if you shut it off in the middle of a movie, it starts over.

Good DVD player

I have iPads and all, but bought this to be able to check DVDs to make sure they are still in good playing order. My one disappointment is that it said it would play AVI files, but I have not been able to make that happen. Still working on it.
