As good a dvd player as it should be

It works pretty much as advertised, and she's pretty happy with it. She had no issues figuring out how it works and operating it herself. The cost was a bit much, I think, for a portable DVD player, but it keeps her engaged and occupied during long road trips.

Gets the job done

Decent DVD player

Less than expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There are two downfalls. 1) The device only has one "jack" for earbuds, other brands have two. Typically, we use this device on long airplane rides where my wife and I wish to watch the same movie. This is not possible with this machine. 2) If the movie is stopped prior to the end and the machine is turned off, It does not remember where you ended your session and it will start the movie from the beginning thus, you have to search and remember where you left off. Other machines have both of these features while this one does not.

This thing is noisy!

But i did for someone who is technologically challenged, and first complaint is the noise it makes when you turn it on. It kinda sounds like a teen learning drive stick for the first time, the sound of grinding of gears. The max volume and quality of speakers are sub par too. The video quality is okay for $85 but when you add the 5hrs battery life, the pros and cons kind of wash. I think I should have ordered something a little more expensive but I needed something ASAP.
