Beautiful picture. Right size screen for a player. A little more than I intended to pay but overall a good product.

So far so good I bought this for when I have bad weather while in ny mini teardrop trailer. When you play blue ray dvd picture is great speakers are loud (but I’m able to connect it to radio that my trailer has) adds to the whole experience. I charge it up and tested its battery claim. I’ve watch 2 dvds on one charge, then run it on a device I have. The only disappointment is that price recently has dropped on it making me feel slightly skunked. Happy viewing wherever you may go!

its very lightweight, easy to operate, i love that you can watch either DVD or Blu Ray with it. the swivel screen allows you to share the experience with others with a twist of the screen. very good product for the price.

This is s great DVD/Blu Ray player. To be honest, it is the only one I could find that was portable. It plays very well and is easy to take where ever I travel too. I will have to say, always buy the three year extended warranty. I use mine so much, I am on my third one in six years. Mine is used almost every day, for several hours per day. It is a great player and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, dependable portable player.

I have loved my recent purchase so far.The Sylvania 13.3 portable Blu-ray player is easy to use,has a swivel screen,a large screen viewing area,2 stereo speakers (1 on each side of the screen),the controls are simple to use,the package includes a remote control,car charger, electric outlet wall charger, earplugs,manual, warranty,box,and I also purchased a 2 year additional warranty.I recommend this item.

This is by far the best Blu-ray DVD player except the price is a bit high, but beside that you can’t go wrong. My DVD player was a bit dated and wasn’t a Blu-ray so I decided to buy this because most DVDs are going to be eventually be Blu-ray anyway. The picture quality and size (laptop size) is want sets it apart from other DVD players. You can watch movies in bed or watch them outside with it’s swivel screen.

Pretty picture and decent battery life. Battery last around 3 hours. Comes with 12v charger so no issues with power. The sound isn't the greatest so I'd recommend headphones or an external speaker. The swivel screen is great. Dissapointed that it doesn't have screen mirroring to stream from of a cell phone.

Screen quality and ease of use is very good. It’s a little loud/not as smooth once it starts up but since we’ve used headphone for this, the user doesn’t hear it while watching and it becomes less of an issue if you don’t have headphones. Sound quality is good. Nice big screen so multiple people have a good view. During the ice storm in Feb 2021, having this came in handy when we had no power, and was one of the things we made sure we charged up whenever we got power back. We put it on the coffee table or dresser, and the three of us were able to watch some movies without squinting (we sat within 10ft of course, not across the room). The remote is handy, just make sure you are pointing it at the sensor a little more directly than just at the machine. That was probably the only semi-frustrating thing about this, but it’s not a deal breaker by any means. Very much worth the money and convenience!

A portable Blu-ray player is a niche product, so there is not a lot of options to choose from nowadays. The fact that Sylvania still makes these is great, and I am very satisfied with my purchase. The screen is massive and the picture quality is amazing. Plays all Blu-rays, DVDs, and CD's perfectly. I have noticed that if it is very dark where I am watching a movie, I have a hard time getting the right angle. The backlight isn't perfect for watching movies in dark rooms and there are options to change the brightness, colors, contrast, etc. and I've played around with them but nothing works perfectly. However, in all honesty, this is a fantastic player and I highly recommend it. Nowadays there aren't very many players that compete with it.

I love this unit. It's much bigger screen than my old portable dvd unit plus it's blu-ray. Light weight too.

Perfect fit for me. I like the large screen and that it also plays Blu-ray. Adjustable screen and easy to use remote.

I work night's so on the weekends I wake up and everyone else is still sleeping so I pull out my movies and start to watch I like it because you can take it anywhere you want good picture quality and simple to use

I've seen a lot of reviews on here complaining about the sound quality and the dark screen, but thats not my experience. Screen quality is pretty good.. After I went into the settings and adjusted the brightness, contrast and color. The default resolution was set to 480i for some reason, but it was easy enough to change it to 1080i. The screen size is a big plus, I can clearly see it from 6 ft away, but the viewing angles are terrible; Watch it straight on or it washes out completely. The speakers are loud enough, but not great quality. I put in a nice pair of earbuds and it sounded great, it even has Dolby DTS Audio. It has HDMI out, a LAN cable and a card reader, none of which I'll probably ever use. I plan to try the AV input sometime to see how that works. Overall it's a nice Blu-ray player, but I think it's a little overpriced.

MY only complaint about this device is that the remote does not power it on. That seems odd. One must use the power slide switch on the front ride side to light it up. Other than that I have no complaints. It is a great large screen portable player and worth every penny if this is what you are looking for. Portable Blu-ray players are hard to find. I think that is very odd, but i understand that many laptop PCs also have Blu-ray options as well.

I originally bought this to use it as portable but I've ended up using it primarily as a regular blu-ray player feeding my TV. The controls are a little finicky - in particular I have to consciously remind myself which are the fast-forward and rewind buttons because the arrangement of the buttons is different to what I'm used to from a lifetime of other remotes and electronics control panels. The switch that changes output from 720 to 1080 is pretty cool. When you finish playing a disc, it keeps spinning for a while so I wait a solid 30 seconds before opening the door to take it out. Functionally, this acts completely like a regular blu-ray player EXCEPT that it does not "remember" when you left off if you stop in the middle of something. You will have to re-navigate to your spot the next time you turn it on. When watching a series, for example, I have to select the specific episode every time I start again. The screen it comes with is VERY bright and must be viewed basically straight-on, or else you lose the ability to see the picture pretty fast from an angle. Overall though I am very happy with it. The battery lasts long enough to watch at least two full-length movies.

The Blu-Ray/DVD player is real portable, has a long running battery. It has a great picture

I was surprised at how light the player was. I thought it was pretty thick while closed about 3 inches. The setup is straightforward with minimal time delay for the disc loading. The screen itself works well and the swivel screen makes watching movies easier. The speakers attached are loud enough but the quality is a bit below average

This is a great product for anyone ,like myself, who has changed out his video library to Blu-ray. For some the screen might be too large for convenience but for my tastes it is just right. The screen rotates and is very convenient on that level. The controls are easily accessible. The sound was great for travel (If you are like me and have a surround sound system at home it is sometimes hard to adjust without it). The visuals are very nice!

This is a good all around portable player that plays blu-ray, dvd and cd formats. It's very easy to use. Cons: There is an annoying grey background glare on the picture and is especially notable on dark background scenes. Sometimes the picture is barely visible. For $199 this is a major flaw with the product. Without headphones, the sound is not very good. The only way is to use headphones and the sound is awesome, similar to theater sound. You have to use a remote and point it at a blue sensor to perform most of the functions. On a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 6.

This Blu ray portable device is the BEST I’ve ever Owned!!!!! Picture Quality is SUPERB. Built in battery & a light indicator to inform you of the existing battery life usage.
