STOPPED WORKING

I USE IT FOR MY SON'S HOMESCHOOL, AND UP UNTIL NOW IT HAS WORKED FINE, BUT NOW THE SCREEN IS TURNING BLACK WHILE IN USE. I HAVE TO TURN IT OFF AND ON IN ORDER FOR IT TO RESET. THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BE THE SOLUTION AFTER ONLY 5 MONTHS OF USE. WISH I COULD RETURN IT. BUYER BEWARE

Screen does not work

You can hear the sound but their is nothing visible on the screen. Reset multiple times and tried to make changes in the menu (even though it was not visible) to no avail.
