I workout 5-7 days a week so my muscles are always sore. I use compression boots, foam rollers, hand rollers and even lacrosse and softballs.everything has an advantage or disadvantage. One of the big advantages of a ball is how light and compact they are, one of the huge downsides is having to chase them around the gym. This solves the problem. In the instructions they mostly show the advantages of the upper body points this is good for. I love mine in lower body. Get the glutes, quads and hamstrings and this can feel like a super deep massage. I definitely got a few questions when I used it as the gym. The walls at the gym and smooth and the suction cup worked amazingly well. I did also use it on the floor (I suggest you do this carefully) and work on my hamstrings. Unfortunately the walls at my house are textured and the suction cup would not work at all. I used the gym trick and would attach this to my floor. It seems this is a known issue but there is not much that can be done. For me the ball did not roll super well but maybe it will loosen up.

    Simple Concept That’s Executed Well

PROS: • Suction force is impressive, and I ran into no issues with it. Even when leaning hard on it. • I like how it all fits together. You attach the suction to the wall. Once that is placed you then slide the ball on which snaps into place. When done, you push the suction latch towards the wall which releases the ball attachment. Then you can release the suction. • The ball is the right size to effectively hit the muscles you’re massaging. Don’t need a lot of strength to apply significant pressure. Personally, I used it mostly for my right upper back near my shoulder blade and I definitely felt it. • Can use on a wall which makes it perfect to hit hard to reach areas (back) without need of another individual. Or just hold it in your hand (which it isn’t ergonomically made for, but you can make it work) to hit other areas. • Lightweight and relatively small. Easy to travel with. • Easy to operate, seems well built. • No electronics. CONS: • Getting into the right positioning is tricky. Seeing as it is mounted to the wall. Can feel like you’re getting a workout while getting a massage when using. Can be cumbersome to easily maneuver to a new area. If you want a snapshot, go to a doorknob that is round, then try to massage your back on it. • Nearly complete plastic design. Appears to be higher quality plastic. But I do have concerns on longevity seeing as it is already making creaking noises when placing and under load. The snapping into place also has me worried seeing as it is plastic that is bending to make that happen. Then has body weight applied which elevates that concern. • Surface dependent on how well suction will work. Overall, it is a nice device. But not a must have. As it hasn’t radically changed anything for me.

Suffering body aches and pain sucks, suffering body aches and pain sucks more when the pain is hard to get and no one is around! There’s certain devices that when you use one your like why didn’t I think of that and this is one! I’ve suffered like many people from back pain in different areas for years. I’ve used and have percussive devices and absolutely love them, but they have their limits such as when you need deep tissue relief. So when I need that kind of relief I ask my girlfriend, but unfortunately she has limited hand strength to really do but so much. Unfortunately for me I developed a pain between my shoulder blades a few years ago that comes on from time to time and is hard for me to get when no one is around. This device is literally for me like having an extra hand wherever I go! The device is robust, simple and very easy to use. Attaching the device to a wall or other compatible surface is easy and straightforward. Just separate the two parts with the lever, suction cup the base to the surface, reattach the top and you’re ready to go. This is such a simple device that can bring pain relief when no one else is around and you can’t get it yourself. To me this is a no brainer if you suffer from pain, which lets be honest, we all do!

THE BREAKDOWN: If you need an extra hand to hit those hard-to-reach places, look no further! This device helps to relieve those muscle aches and pains in those hard-to-reach places. I especially liked using it on my back and neck. With this device it gives you the ability to get deep tissue relief and you control the pressure! I have used this device daily. This device is simple and easy to use. Removing the ball from the main suction body may be a little difficult the first time but after a few times it becomes easy. You remove the ball portion from the suction cup base. You place the base on your wall or other object and push down the level to create suction. Then slide on the ball portion and you are ready to go! Simple and easy to use device that is portable. PROS: -Easy to install -Portable -Great at getting the deep tissue because you control the pressure CONS: -Removing the ball from the suction base is a little difficult the first couple times SUMMARY: Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they were in the market for device like this.

It's an OK Roller Ball For Muscle Tension

This Symbodi Vertical Mounted Muscle Care System is simple and well made. They say it's the worlds first mountable massage ball and I'll have to take them for their word on that. It comes well packaged and with instructions which are easy to understand. It honestly can't be much simpler. The first thing you do is take the resting base off, push down the tension bar and lift the ball assembly off, then find a smooth (you cannot attach this to anything which is textured), place and pull the tension bar back up and it's attached. Ours is on a smooth flat tile wall. Otherwise, it does what its supposed to do. You back up to it and it rolls to relieve tense muscles. I like it, but there are things it could have done much better. Muscles are all over our bodies. To be able to use it for multiple muscle groups, requires the device to be repositioned a LOT to reach areas needing attention. And while it's nice it's the worlds first mountable massage ball, it's ergonomics should have anticipated this. It's not exactly designed to be hand held. It should offer the option to mount it or use it in the hand. Otherwise, it does what its advertised to do. But I'm not sure it's worth the price it cost given it's just a roller ball, you can attach to a wall with suction.

This is such a simple product, but it does what it does really well! I have a recurring knot in my shoulder blade because of a previous military injury and the only thing that really helped me is when my wife takes our massage gun and sticks the precision pointer directly into the spots that always ache. I just can’t reach them myself until now. This device has a roller ball that can be affixed to a suction mount that sticks to pretty much any flat, clean surface. When attached, you can mash the injured area with the ball, which simulates a massage professional sticking their elbow right into the area… like a deep tissue massage. Ouch so good! I was able to get the area in my shoulder blade by myself, and that’s awesome! Now, I was skeptical of the mount. I at first mounted it on my refrigerator, which worked fine, but then I just decided to mount it in one of our entryways that had a semigloss paint. It stuck perfectly (see pictures) and didn’t budge the entire time. I have a lot of confidence in the suction mount. I tried it on a flat paint wall and it gave me the same good results. The massage tool didn’t budge. I also tried it on our hardwood floor to do a little work on my calf. Worked great, but I don’t know if it would be very good on carpet. I’m fairly impressed with this tool. For such a simple thing you’d think someone would have come up with this sooner. I highly recommend it for anyone that needs to get that ache in the back or any other part of the body you need to deknot or massage!

    Precise muscle tension and relief

This Symbodi Vertiball is a unique but useful tool for health and wellness. It's a massager that can pinpoint on a specific area and target a stiff muscle or knot. Place this unique device against the wall with its suction power base and then you're good to go. The base of the Vertiball will work on a wall or doorway that has a smooth surface, so it may take some trial and error to see which surface works best. Wall mounting this is a very simple to use system. It should mount against the wall or door and then release if you're wanting to move it to a new location or take it on the go. I like the precision aspect of how this massager can relieve my tension and knots. My target areas have been my upper back and mid back. These are areas I have a hard time giving any attention to because I can't reach them easily with my other handheld massage gun. I have been able to dig this Vertiball into my shoulder blades and control the pressure I want based on how much body weight I lean against it. This has been great for me as an athlete, an office desk job worker, and as a parent. I have found tension and relief on various points of my body. It all depends on where you place the unit on the wall/door. I have been targeting my neck, shoulder blades, mid back, low back, buttock, hips, quads, chest, and front shoulder. There are many uses and many ways to find some relief for your target areas. Very handy to use or take with you on the go. The Symbodi Vertiball is small and compact, so therefore can be placed in a suitcase or travel bag easily. I will be packing this on my next road trip for work, as I think using this at the hotel will be helpful for me as a road warrior. PRO: Invest in my health Easy to use Target muscle tension

The ball doesn’t roll very easy. I was thinking of maybe adding some oil or lotion to it so it glides around better. It sticks a lot and you have to reposition to get it to roll again. Can’t leave it attached to wall cause it falls after 20 minutes.

    Helps Tremendously with Shoulder/Back Issues

As someone who works at a desk and spends a lot of time staring at a computer and their phone, I definitely have developed tech neck which is already exacerbated by a lingering case of scoliosis. Getting relief is always an issue for me from knots in my shoulders (the blades, the traps) and my mid to lower back. I really do not like rolling on massage balls because it's pretty difficult to change the pressure because it's all reliant on gravity and your weight, and massage guns are great but don't give you the deep relief you really need. I see a chiropractor and a masseuse regularly, but there was a void missing for in-between those sessions when I needed relief. The symbodi vertiball has filled that void! Using this device is pretty simple luckily! Just remove the ball by pressing in and lifting up, and then prime the suction cup to the position you want to work on (height wise) and then pull the lever to create section and you have the perfect muscle care system! Just a note, this definitely does require a smooth surface. I just put it on my doors around the house which are flat and have a smooth finish and this thing sticks very well. Have not had an issue where it has fallen while using it, but have if you leave it on for longer than you should which is my fault. I have tried it on my textured walls (a heavy orange peel spray) and it does not work too well. Sometimes I can get lucky and get it to stick but not often. Definitely you need a smooth surface, you can try it on textured walls but don't be expecting perfection. The reason I give it 4 stars is because I worry about the longevity of the device. The plastic just seems like one day its going to snap, especially the spring loaded mechanism. Also, sometimes it can be a bit hard to handle, it is not as fluid or smooth as I would like it to be, the mechanism is very tight and can require some un natural force to get to work. Also, I think the price is a bit high, if it is on sale, definitely buy it, but wouldn't pay full price. The ball also creaks a lot when you roll your muscles on it. But still, this thing works! That is really all that matters, it has given me immense relief and I feel like a cat rubbing its face on the corner of a couch when using it!

My wife and I are getting up in age, but we still like to workout and remain as active as possible. Unfortunately, we both have chronic back pain. We were very excited to give this thing a try. Before we would use tennis balls in a sock and it was always very difficult to get the ball in just the right place and keep it there to help work out the knots. Out of the box this was very easy to use. Note that it wont work on any surface you put it on. The best surface we found was a metal door that leads to our garage. It has to be a very smooth surface. In the manual they state "Vertiball does not mount to textured surfaces like stucco or textured drywall, brick, concrete or wallpaper surfaces." So, you might have to try a few surfaces to find one that works. The device comes in 2 pieces. The base with the suction cup and the part with the ball on it. The first part is the suction cup that you stick to the wall. You just hold it up to the wall and pull down the lever and it will stick. Then you just slide the part with the ball over the top of that and you are ready to go! If you need to remove it, you just slide off the ball and then I found if you slide the suction cop to the left or right it will usually come off the door pretty easily. Using it is pretty easy as well. Find the knot and rub it out with the ball. Usually in less than 5 minutes you are good to go. The ball isn’t stationary and has 360-degree motion so it will roll with you. The ball is very hard and that can be a little uncomfortable for some people like myself. I wish it could have been more of like a firm rubber ball with a little give to it. But I guess that is up to personal preference. My wife didn’t have a problem with the hardness of the ball. I found that it worked very well at helping to break up knots in your back and shoulders and was very easy to use. I highly recommend it, It will save you lots of money by not having to go get massages for all your aches and pains!

This Symbodi wall mounted massager has been a very useful tool in several ways. It feels great after working out, but it also feels great after a long day of having to work in front of a computer with lackluster posture. I see a chiropractor weekly and I am known for holding my stress in my shoulders, upper back and neck and this has helped me find trigger points and keep them under control. The device itself is impressive, I was doubting the suction before giving it a try but it is very powerful and proved me wrong. I only had it come off the wall once and it was due to an imperfection I didn't notice before attaching the device. Every other use though, it has stayed in place. My only two gripes are one, I wish the ball rolled smoother. It is pretty stiff and I keep wanting to use some sort of silicone spray to lube it up, but then I realize that would go right onto my skin or clothing so I'm just dealing with it. It does sometimes feel like the mall is not even spinning and my body is just moving over it while it sits still. I still get a decent result though so I guess it is okay. My only other gripe is purely aesthetic, it is the material of the plastic, it is a very rough and unfinished surface, almost looks dry or like it has fiberglass in it. I would have liked to see a smoother or glossy finish that makes it look more complete. Again it does not affect the function of the device, just an aesthetic thing. Overall I would highly recommend this to literally anyone but especially people who have back pain and tension, sit at a desk daily, or works out.

This is a super simple concept and is executed so very well. I'm surprised that someone hadn't come up with it earlier. Reading the inventor's story inside the packaging, though, it makes perfect sense for him to have come up with this. It essentially consists of 2 parts and no electronics at all - an actual pleasant surprise! Doesn't require batteries, charging, cords or the like. Basically, you pick how high up a wall you want to mount it based on what area of your body you want to work on. Then, you just stick it on the wall with the suction cup base. If you've ever used a suction cup-type car phone mount, you will know how to use this within a matter of seconds. Then, it's just a matter of pushing your body part up against the ball and moving around against the ball. You can apply as much or as little pressure as you want, appropriate to the kind of recovery you need. That's essentially it. I've tried several different wall types in our house and the until has stuck on all of them without any problems.

    Simple but interesting development muscles&knots

Symbodi Vertiball is an interesting development of a traditional method used to relieve muscular tension and knots. Using a round hard surface against the group of muscles and compressing both whiles moving the area around. Until now, I was using a tennis ball on the wall, pressing my back against it, and hoping that the ball stays there during the massage. Another alternative, when I was treating the lower back group of muscles, I was staying on the floor with the tennis ball between the back and the floor. It’s obvious that Symbody makes the process very easy while maintaining the effectiveness of the massage. I call this development because I see an interesting group of advantages: 1.- Symbodi ball is built with a very powerful suction cup that attaches the device to the wall and stays there no matter how strong your body moves against the device. 2.- The device is made of quality plastic and remains strong while is still in an adequate size to be in your gym bag. 3.- It can be used without external assistance. Just the wall. In most other massage devices like massage guns, you need someone else to reach some of the muscles in your back. 4.- This is not an electronic solution, so no batteries or power are required here. I think that the product is simple and efficient, serves perfectly its mission and is made of great quality, all good reasons to recommend it.

This is a surprisingly simple yet effective way to help with tight back muscles. First, this is built very nicely. The suction cup is large and rather strong. You might need to play around with where to place it. It really does require a perfectly flat surface. I tried it on a couple of painted surfaces thinking they would be smooth enough but it eventually fell off. Ended up sticking it to the side of the refrigerator and it's held strong. The ball itself is just the right size. I'm able to easily get right into my shoulder blade area which is where I tend to have issues with tightness. But I can also easily reach the rest of my back and shoulders and it feels great! I do wish the ball rolled a bit more smoothly. But then again, that might take away from the tension that it has and not work as well. The fact that it is easy to remove and take along with me means it will be coming on vacation with us as well :-) I can't help but thing hitting a sauna and/or hot tub and then running this all around my back would help my back feel like a million bucks!

I have a lot of back problems from sitting in an office chair all day at work. This is perfect for me to use to help with tension in my back. It sticks to the wall very easily and never came off even with lots of pressure and motion. I was worried that taking it off the wall would take off the paint due to how strong it was on the wall. Thankfully it came off the wall easily and left no marks. In the instructions it does specifically say to remove it from the wall after use. So, I'm not sure if any damage would happen if you left it on the wall. The paint on my walls is just contractor grade white, nothing special. I would probably recommend not using this on wallpaper or a nicely painted wall just in case. The symbodi is made of plastic, but it is not flimsy or cheap feeling at all. The blue ball on top rolls around freely. Since its mounted to the wall, you can adjust how much pressure you want to use on the device. I know other products that you can use on the floor, but this would be perfect for travel or even an elderly person. Since it's so easy to mount and use an older person would be able to attach to the wall instead of trying to lay on something you use on the ground. Plus, if you use it at work, you will not have to be on the floor in your office since this attaches to the wall. I would recommend this if you have back tension/muscle issues. Even just using it for a minute my back felt better and more relaxed.

This is another item that I use everyday because it is effective. If you like tennis ball therapy you will like this. It seems like a heavy duty, well made product. Just like a golf, tennis or Lacrosse ball, this is targeted for those smaller, harder to reach areas. Not quite a firm as a golf ball, but more firm than a Lacrosse ball. If I had to assign a number in firmness, I would call it somewhere between an 8.5 - 9.5 on a scale of 10; FIRM. My biggest challenge is going to find a safe place that the suction cup will be happy with (mount to). Glass would be great, except for the part of crashing thru it as you put your weight on this. Depending on where (on your body) you are massaging, you will likely be moving your body in an up/down motion, so you get a little glute and quad workout as you're using this. They have included a nice, permanent snap on/snap off cover for the suction cup. That's important as you want that part to be as clean as possible. The enclosed guide instructs us to clean it with a soft damp cloth if it becomes dirty/dusty. The massage ball is the heaviest part of this device. This appears to be of quality materials and workmanship. It removes from the base to enable you to actuate the suction cup. With it removed from the base, I used it holding it in my hands, sitting down, massaging my quads. Getting a massage takes some work on your part. You have to move your body up and down, or side to side (depending on how you have the massager mounted). But it worked well to target knots. You can lean on it to hold pressure in one spot then move up/down to roll over the knot. I like it the most when using it on my back and the back of my neck and shoulders. I initially used this on my upper back, and it gave me the chills, it works so well. Just mount it, and just do little mini squats to massage your back. You're in total control, you can go as easy, or aggressive as you want to. Want to work another part of your back, just lower the roller and you're good to go. It really is that easy! It does seem priced a bit high for what it is, but is also comparable to other suction mounted massage devices. I'd recommend if you're looking to upgrade from something like a foam roller - and the price isn't too off-putting to you. If you can afford this roller, you need to get it. It's done wonders for me. Give it a try for yourself!
