Went to activate the SIM card and got an error that it was already in use. Had to call T-Mobile and wait 48 hours to be able to activate it. Service is great but, next time will go to the carrier directly.

My sim was damaged and I needed a new one. Placed my order online and picked up soon after. Got home activated on my account and had internet back again!

This is a real convenient item if you don't want to pay $25 at a T-Mobile store for a stupid SIM card this way you get the time and the SIM card

Easy to purchase but is a pain to get setup with tmobile prepaid. Always get run around call back in 2 hrs, we’ll call you back in 2 hours. 72 hours later I had to go to a T-Mobile store in which they don’t work in prepaid services but was able to get the account activated. Which shouldn’t have required a store visit. Other than that the Best Buy rep assisted in trying to setup after purchase.

family was visiting from Europe. they needed a u.s. number. this worked great on their European phone.

I purchased this EASY to use SIM only packaged , after 6 customer service called to TMobile I was told to go into a T Mobile store . They told me the SIM was not registered on the TMobile network. After 6 calls and a long journey to a TMobile store I went back to the Best Buy I purchased the SIM from. I was given , reluctantly I may add, a refund. I would not recommend buying this product from Best Buy

Great for new customers wanting basic service. Can keep your old number in most cases. Also can opt for the $45 plan if you use less data.

Everything working good, as so many year been a customer with bestbuy i alway get what i want and so happy about it.

Only good if it’s a super emergency if you want a true monthly prepaid plan it’s better go to the T-Mobile store

Good deal, however if you are switching phones, just go to Tmobile and get a chip for less.

Get a new Sim card pretty much free since you are getting a month of service with the purchase of this Kit.

I’ve never seen a package like this it’s nice to be able to have the new sim along with the prepaid top up plan

Man I am not sure how best buy is even selling this. Where do I begin? Well first the 800 number in the Kit is wrong, call it and you get automated message trying to sell you all kinds of service from other providers and such lol. Second the website activation process is the worst! Its been 6 hours the webpage has failed on me. Some backend error, no place to put in the activation code. At times the page will fail and then you have to go back and restart the process, oh wait you cant because now you are locked out because sim is reserved for 2 hours. So I called the TMOBILE number on their page. She forwarded me to Prepaid activations. As soon as the lady heard I already bought a sim and I am having trouble activate I heard her hang up lol, this happened twice. What a joke. I feel like something is wrong here. I am so surprised that tmobile has such a horrible activation procedure for prepaid starter kits. The webpage included in the page takes you to standard prepaid page. Just horrible activation process and absolutely horrible customer service. Best buy should be throwing these prepaid kits in trash.
