When trying to set up my account as a new customer, the account kept using an old email. Customer service nor I could change it to allow me to register my new account. So I went to ATT and had absolutely no issues

This offer by tmobile is genuinely a great deal but they fail to deliver on their service offer. I spent most of my month calling tmobile to get my service fixed because although the plan offers unlimited phone service domestically every other day I would attempt a call and receive a "you no longer have enough funds to complete this call" prompt. It was very frustrating to say the least, if this issue gets fixed I would say the plan and prepaid offer is wonderful.

Seems like a good product, but activation for international users is difficult. The tech support people were friendly and tried to get us set up, but, in the end, it was never activated and went unused.

I bought this for my unlocked phone, and the SIM card was not valid and customer support was less than helpful. Would not buy again.

Even for the do-it-yourselfer this is't worth the effort. Credit BB for carrying the product it's just not user friendly. Besides, there's a T-mobile store right across the street.

At first, I bough this kit. when open it, there is no sim-card inside, I have to go back Best-Buy for new one (No charge) Then took me 2 days to complete the registration on-line, (for some reason, look like heavy traffic on web I can not process complete, after so many try, I have to wait for next day to complete the registration) Finally completed and work, Now I find out my phone and sim-card connection on and off. , I paid $20 into the card, Don't know what to do now. :(

Cheapest option, works for existing customers

Picked one up in store and was very easy to activate. Do this instead of paying 3-4 times at the T-Mobile store. If you already have service, simply install the SIM in your new unlocked phone and call the number provided in the package for the simplest activation. I bought a new unlocked phone and needed a nano SIM to activate it on my existing T-Mobile account. I remembered that T-Mobile charges you upwards of 15 dollars unless you buy a phone from them from the last time my girlfriend had to do the same thing. Stopped by Best Buy and the associate informed me that T-Mobile should give me one for free if I already have service with them. I was skeptical but went over to the T-Mobile store and was told it would cost 15 dollars. Went back to Best Buy and picked one of these up. Tried activating it online and found that the online activation was more catered towards those needing to purchase a plan. Decided to try calling the activation line instead and it was super easy. Definitely recommend using the calling option.

The sim works great. I wouldn't recommend this product though because there is no plan for unlimited talk and text unless you shell out more money.
