Great phone and good price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone has exceeded my expectations. It is a great entry to mid-level phone. The 1 Ghz single core processor is fast. The interface will slow down a bit when multiple apps are opened. These apps are huge CPU hogs (i.e. Facebook) but the majority of apps run smooth. The phone has 2 GB of internal memory with 1.02 GB usable. It comes with 1.62 GB (2 GB) SD of internal space. Add a another SD card and this phone should suit any ones needs. My two complaints about the phone are battery life. As with most Android phones the battery tends to last 12-15 hours depending on usage. My second gripe with the phone is the bloatware installed. T-Mobile has a bunch of apps pre-installed (and not removable) that I will never use. Most are T-Mobile specific such as 411 & More, Bilo eBooks, Kiles air, More for Me, etc. The phone itself performs very well and the fact that its $249 and 4G capable and no contract upgrade needed is a great purchase for anyone looking to upgrade from a 3G phone or leap in to an Android phone.

Very fast and excellent features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GOOD: Very fast downloading whether it's to screen or just data it seemed like my laptop's speed. I wonder if that's the 4G Network... Beautiful display colors are rich. Good response for the touch commands and virtual keyboard. Video and camera with LED flash. Front-facing video chat feature. 3.0 mp camera is good enough, I have camera and a camcorder if I want higher resolution. Besides the larger the pixels the more data space it eats up on storage. 1 gb internal storage and takes up to 32gb micro SDHC card. BAD: Expensive. There is no voice dialing over Bluetooth, so recommend not to use in car while driving. OTHER: Can use as pay as you go with T-mobile 4G plans OR 2-year contract phone.

Great phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great phone. You get way more than what U pay 4. 4 a basic Android Cellphone, you get allot of features that a basic Android cellphone don't have. I really like this phone, its really great. If U need a back up Android or a extra take phone 4 work. this is it. The 4g is fast, fast downloads, great Camera, good speaker phone, good touch screen. there's only one thing I don't like about this phone. If U have many apps, the phone gets a little slow. But no big deal all U have 2 do is reboot the phone once in a whole, and that takes care of that. But a great little phone. This phone is the high end of prepay or middle end. This is the best cellphone in its class. Thank U Samsung. Buy the phone...

Good Android Phone. Easy to use.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phones replaces my Optimus V Slider. The V Slider is a good device but I wanted a larger screen. I like that the Exhibit 2 4G has controls for Wi-Fi, Blue tooth, GPS and silent mode from the beginning screen pull down menu. I have read that others complain about short battery life but I have been getting a full day with moderate use 6am to 3pm. Sure I have to charge every day but welcome to the world of android smart phones. Cutting off GPS and Wi-Fi when not in use will extend the battery life.

EXCELLENT value on the $30/Month plan
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok so I have owned the HTC Thunderbolt, Droid X, Droid Bionic, Motorola Triumph, and Kyocera rise. I am no rookie when it comes to androids. I left verizon because I was paying $90 a month and not really using anything but data and text This is a snappy quick phone, definitely feels very solid. Feels like a slimmed down GSII or III, Its definitely on the higher end of the mid-range androids. I looked at T-mobile because I couldnt stream any video on spint's 3G in my area and T-mobile's monthly 4G has a $30 100 Min of Talk and Unlimited Data (5GB 4G# and text plan. Netflix streams in high resolution fine and I get between 2.5-7MBps downstream on T-mobile's HSPA+ 4G. Its not LTE, but its fast enough to stream high resolution video without buffering. My only complaint is T-mobile's 4G towers #EDGE is fine) don't get enough building penetration and there is no data roaming on prepaid, so you can't use the AT&T data. You can get more minutes for 10 cents a minute. I keep a floating balance of $5 so I can use 50 minutes in an emergency and Im over my limit. After your 4G data alotment is up, you default back to EDGE until you renew again. EDGE runs between 20-100KBs Battery life is good, make sure to have a large microSD card as it only has 2GB of on board storage. Screen is very crisp. The phone's back is plastic though and pretty slippery. Camera takes OK pictures for a 3.2 MP camera. For $15 more you can add mobile hotspot. Not bad for a prepaid plan.

you dont need $500+ phones, this phone is great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so far I am loving this phone, previously I has a LG optimus V on virgin mobile and that phone was good but it and the service were too slow for me. this phone passes my expectations for what I was looking for. it easily adds 2 hours to the battery life over the optimus v, the processing power is much better with its snapdragon processor, 1/2" bigger screen, flash player, camera flash, front facing camera, clear and louder audio, 4g + wifi. the thinks I don't like are the capacitive buttons, I prefer mechanical buttons as they can accidentally be pressed and they can unlock the screen. I don't care for the position of the unlock/power button, I like it on top. I find this phone to be too thin, it falls out of my pocket to easily and to make matters worse I drive a stick so I constantly have to check if its falling out, plus its a bit harder to type because I can't always get a firm grip on it. hopefully a case will solve these issues. T-Mobile is pretty fast until it hits about 6:00 pm then it is significantly bogged down, but this is a frequent problem with most carriers. I give this phone a 4.5/5, but what's wrong with it is just my own personal preferences. I would recommend this product

This Phone Is Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of, i am a big android user so when i switched to this phone from my others i was shocked, It is such a great phone and i love it! It says 4g and it means it. The screen is perfect sized! And it just suits me very well. The camera is amazing both the back and the front facing one. The flash is amazing too! Very bright unlike other phone flashes i have had... The touch response is almost if not all the time very responsive, barely have to touch it to go to what i want or type what i want. I use my phone pretty much all day for texting calling using the web and apps. And i only charge my battery at night, its at 20% by 11pm and that is when i charge it and let it charge until morning at 5-6 am and my phone lasts all day with constant use and its full of apps and storage is almost all the way used up. Still fast! I believe this phone is for anyone. You dont have to take my word for it though, Try it out for yourself, you will be as surprised as me!

No iPhone, but not $600 either
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As compared to my iPod touch it seems a little sluggish and sometimes quirky, but as compared to any other phone that I have owned it is amazing. If you are looking to purchase a phone without extending your contract I would definitely look no further. It does everything that I expect it to do and usually does it seamlessly. It really helps to turn it off every once in awhile to re-boot. The battery easily lasts an entire day with normal use.

great quality camera and lots of memory space
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone has lots of storage space and high quality pics...great phone especially for it being prepaid. I have been having a couple of problems as far as sending text messages. Sometimes the messages don't go through on the first try... but other than that...great phone

Great phone with a strong signal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone is good and Im happy with the plan and all that it has to offered. But for me the most important thing is the signal strength because i dont like dropped calls specially during my commute home on the blue line. I highly reccomend this phone and the carrier as well.

Slow and Frustrating
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 2 stars have nothing to do with T-Mobile; I've been with them for about 6 years and have no complaints (I am on contract but bought this phone to replace my last Samsung Gravity Smart#. My gripe is with the phone's performace itself: it lags A LOT #even when there are no apps running, and I'm only using 1/5 of the memory), and sometimes freezes so I have to remove the battery in order to get it work again. It can take up to 10 seconds just for it to do what you want it to do- open texts, call log, picture gallery, going back to the home screen, etc. When going to compose a text, I have to tap in the empty box at the bottom up to 4 times in order to get the keyboard to come up. Very SLOW start up & shut down. I was expecting a lot more from a 1ghz processor. Furthermore, the power button is almost flush with the body so it is hard to feel/find. Despite the back being textured, the phone is very slippery and hard to hold onto. Otherwise, the screen is great, colors are vivid, 4G works well, apps generally run smoothly, battery lasts about 15 hours with average use, but I just dont have the patience to sit and wait for it to do what its supposed to do. Looking to replace it, which is too bad because I've only had it for about 4 months.

Good Phone but poor battery strenght
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the phone in terms of its speed and performance. But the battery drains very fast..even though it task manager shows no active tasks. I need to charge it every day & evening. Tried putting the phone in energy savings mode.. But still I have to charge it everyday in morning and evening for sure. I switched off GPS,WIFI etc but I am very unhappy about the battery. Need to call best buy support and find out if its a issue with phone or battery.

A good phone prepaid phone.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's better than my old Samsung phone. The text messages comes out as a chat instead of a separate message for output and input.
