I love the original trainspotting and I knew to go in with lower expectations for this one but was still exited to see the characters again. they were slightly dissappointing as far as plot and acting.

Love the 1st and glad to see Danny Boyle directing the original cast but this movie should have been more memorable. Saw it twice and i'll think it'll sit on the shelf for a while now.

Trainspotting is a unique type of movie and it is quick witted with a deep story. T2 is a dim witted story of stupidity with no dynamics. So bummed. Some may like it ...if you do good for you but I was left asking....what did I just watch.....

It was not my cup of tea. Difficulty understanding the British accent.

T2: Trainspotting is unfortunately not able to completely live up to the original that came out 21 years prior, but absolutely does not fall flat. The unique storytelling, visuals, and cinematography all work together to tell this unique tale that takes place 20 years after the original. Definitely a must watch for fans of the original. Choose adding this movie to your collection. Choose life.
