This is the third Tablo device I’ve gotten. The first two didn’t work properly, so I sent them back. But the third time has been a charm. I added a flash drive for extra storage.

I've been using this WiFi OTA tuner for a few weeks and it's everything I expected of it, and it works really well with my Roku players and Roku TVs. The only flaw I see so far is the lack of PC support, otherwise it's perfect for my needs. Heck, you can even turn of the LED light from the app. Just a heads up: if the Android app hangs in the middle of the firmware update and never finishes, uninstall the app and reinstall it. The setup will resume again.

With the detailed step-by-step instructions provided, the device was easy to install and activate. After installing the companion Tablo app on my smart TV, I can locate and select channels to watch live or search for programs to record and watch later. After three weeks it is working quite well.

Great device, enjoy recording some OTA shows and some of the extra channels it provides. But I'd suggest a good antenna, I have one that seems to be affected by weather at times. It was easy to set up, and hook to my WIFI. Downloading the app is easy as well

Works fine just remember if you have a mesh system set it to bridge mode so you can watch your tv Product streams local channels to all tvs well worth the price just to not have to pay for big tv or big streaming just to watch local channels

Not very stable. Won't connect half the time both to my Roku Ultra or my Samsung TV. Fails often when trying to watch a show while its recording. When it works, its ok... just ok.

Very happy with the Tablo 4th gen 2 tuner DVR! Setup was very easy and went quicker than I expected even firmware update and channel scan. Connected to smart tv with Wi-Fi and it is working very well. The free guide is great and scheduling recordings is easy and user friendly. I especially like that I can choose to only record new episodes.

Great dvr tuner, can record antenna channels and streaming. Has many new feature over the old legacy tuner. Easy setup and has built in dvr that can be expaned with an external hard drive if needed.

Works well but I have to restart it often, so it’s a backup for other rooms not our main watching room

Very easy to setup, easy to use, working great. Such a great option with $0 additional costs to handle ota broadcasts. No lag, great app. Get the right antenna for your location. Used with Roku, fire tv, and google tv. Really satisfied.

So far I like the new Tablo. Since the new format is different from the old still getting use to it. Easy to set up and I watch a lot of over the air tv. It also has different programming. I always like the fact that one device can be viewed on other devices.

I bought this to replace a tablo four tuner unit that failed about a month ago, I wish I would have been more patient and waited for TiVo to be back in stock. I had a previous unit for years, I would regularly have to unplug it for a soft reset or unplug the hard drive so it would recognize it, I hope this 4th generation unit would be better, but I had the same problems the first day, if you take over the air station seriously I suggest you have a backup either the TV without a DVR or home run HD, because this unit will not provide stable recordings and performance. Tablo seems unwilling or unable to put out a unit that functions as advertised without several problems, numerous updates never seem to help.

I was expected to get it home in set it up. The first day it worked perfectly all the channels showed a perfect picture but for some reason the next day ABC 7 would not tune in the weird thing is that I can record shows on the channel in watch them from the library.

Purchased this so I could use an antenna to get OTA channels that my streaming provide would not offer. This makes it so I can use one antenna for all my devices through a convenient app. If you are looking to cut our cable I would recommend

When working it’s great! But won’t work with LG unless you buy fire stick. Keeps disconnecting from tv and internet. Lasted less the a year before stopped working. Waiting for a replacement from Tablo

I'd give this a 5 star except the software or firmware is buggy. Time to time when you turn it on you get the Setup screen as if you are starting over and walks you through the installation process.

Easy to use and set up than previous airtv2 with sling. The onboard dvr Recording is convenient. The tv guide could use a refresh but is easy to navigate. The dual screens works heat something the air tv claimed but never worked

Setup was easy and efficient. Put the Tablo and antenna in attic to get better reception which enabled me to get 100+ channels (really just wanted ABC,CBS, NBC & Fox). I am streaming signal to Roku TVs in house and it works great. Switching channels is a little slow, but tolerable. It would be great if there was previous channel on Roku app, but there is not at this time.

The Tablo has a nice user interface through the Tablo app for Fire TV. While the ability to record live TV is nice the Tablo is very sensitive to signal quality often stopping a recording after a brief interruption in the signal. A wide range of live TV channels are clearly presented and programming descriptions are conveniently provided in the channel listing, but the Tablo does appear to require an external Internet connection to work even after initial setup.
