Easy Set-Up & Saving me $$
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Tablo TV 4th Gen is the prefect solution for my basement television to get OTA channels where there is no broadcast signal. I placed the antenna upstairs where I had a strong signal and now I can easily stream those channels downstairs. The set up is very easy in the iOS app, and the app & channel guide on Google TV (Sony) is really easy to use. With this set up I canceled YouTube TV and am now saving almost $80/mo. *Disclaimer: I am a Best Buy employee, but do not work with Tablo. It is just a genuinely good product.

No support for this piece of junk.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I attempted to connect to the Tablo using the windows app and then the android app. While using the android app I received the message “an unknown error has occurred if the problem persists, please contact support (the phone number and e-mail address was given for support). I then opted to use the windows app on the Microsoft store. I downloaded and installed the Tablo app from the Microsoft software store. The Microsoft app directed me to connect to the wifi name of Tablo_xxx. I connected to wifi name Tablo_9677, and disabled the windows firewall for 1 hour. The Microsoft app was unable to find the Tablo. I attempted an HTT connection using chrome web browser to the default gateway of 192.168.10.1, however the web page only said “Nuvyyo Tablo Server”. The directions in the Tablo app from Microsoft were no help at all. I was unable to connect to the Tablo with the android app nor the windows app. At 9:43pm MDT I placed a call to Tablo support. After one hour of hold time, I get the recorded message, “there are no agents available to take your call. Please call back later.” In the end, the only app that was able to connect to the Tablo was the chrome web browser, but that default page had nothing to click on. I could do nothing but be frustrated with the junk Tablo I had purchased from Best Buy. Ladies and gentlemen, I can not recommend you purchase a Tablo, because setup wizard does not work, and therefore, the Tablo does not operate.

Good choice for those just starting out in OTA TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like that there is no ongoing subscription for guide data. The UI is a nice improvement from the older Tablo models. Setup was easy. The hardware is very refined and beautiful. Seems to run much cooler than the older models. Downsides - no way to watch recordings on a PC or Mac. No way to automatically skip commercials as the old models do. No out of home viewing or streaming. I ended up returning mine and going back to my old Tablo Quad that's still working great and still skipping commercials on my recordings!

Could be a good thing
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When working it’s great! But won’t work with LG unless you buy fire stick. Keeps disconnecting from tv and internet. Lasted less the a year before stopped working. Waiting for a replacement from Tablo

Not what I hoped
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Location is key to reception quality. Purchased because located in city with nearby medical centers, low lying surrounded by taller buildings, not much better than over air reception but about 50 more channels that I wouldn't have used anyway (religoius, SAP, online shopping). May be better in rural or pristine location in city. Navigation easy.

Saving Money!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am saving much money by using Tablo instead of cable TV! I am happy that I can get all the channels I want. Even many I will never use. But it did not work for first 2 days. And it sometimes stops working for no apparent reason. But overall, I am happy!

Got to get a Tablo.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OTA at its best. Also a guide and dvr that lets you see two weeks out. My pic shows a 500gb ssd. also attached to increase storage to well over 200 hrs. 50 hrs without it.

Good for live TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced my Fire Recast due to hardware issues that Amazon could not fix. This is pretty good but not the most responsive and sometimes buffers and doesn't load a channel.
I would recommend this to a friendBrand response from Tablo TV
Posted .Hello,
Buffering can be due to a Wi-Fi slowdown. Troubleshooting that should resolve the issue.

Great concept, limiting schedule
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up Tablo for parents to get a complaint about a lack of shows. Showed parents how to use Tablo and found the schedule limited. For what it does, it is great!

Tablo saves me $35/month!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Spectrum wanted an extra $35/month for including local Milwaukee, over the air channels. I bought Tablo and an Insignia flat antenna. Now I receive all of the local channels. Even better, Tablo streams those local channels to all three of my TVs plus our iPhones and iPads. I paid about $110 for the antenna and the Tablo so in 3 months, its paid for in savings. This is a no brainer…..get the Tablo!

Good over the air recorder and streamer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my sister and B in law after they complaqined about dish costing over $200 a month. They had never reviewed the additional charges Dish adds as the sub ages. Now they have nothing but netflix and tablo with free streamers like pluto and freevee and are very happy . they do not record so that is not an issue in their small three tv home.

What a marvel
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a marvel. It works better than my (expensive) cable service for easy of recording/playback. It takes almost no space. It only took a day or two to learn how to navigate the screens etc. And I'm no tech wonder! A friend tried to do gt et me to cut the cable and do this a year ago and I was hesitant. But it is easy and saving me about $150 /month. Enough Said?

Tablo 2 Tuner DVR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking to get rid of your cable TV, this will allow you to record OTR channels. You will need an antenna and internet. I have found that it works very well. It allows you to record 2 shows at a time. You can schedule it from an app on your phone. The only slight drawback is that you can only schedule when you are connected to your home wifi.

Very satisfied.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to setup, easy to use, working great. Such a great option with $0 additional costs to handle ota broadcasts. No lag, great app. Get the right antenna for your location. Used with Roku, fire tv, and google tv. Really satisfied.

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not what I expected. I had an older version that died after a power outage. It worked great, but this 4th generation is junk. works ok on some Roku devices but not on all. Works fine in my office but not on Roku connecter to LG TV. Will not pick up local live channels. I have upgraded al lmy devices still does not work. I would mot recommend this device to anyone.

Hope to cut down on my monthly entertainment fees
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once I got used to a new way of navigating, it deserved a five-star rating. I also had to buy the fire stick because my TV didn't have Tablo included in the APPs list. The TV must be one of the earliest smart TVs.
