Not what I expected. I had an older version that died after a power outage. It worked great, but this 4th generation is junk. works ok on some Roku devices but not on all. Works fine in my office but not on Roku connecter to LG TV. Will not pick up local live channels. I have upgraded al lmy devices still does not work. I would mot recommend this device to anyone.

Set up Tablo for parents to get a complaint about a lack of shows. Showed parents how to use Tablo and found the schedule limited. For what it does, it is great!

When working it’s great! But won’t work with LG unless you buy fire stick. Keeps disconnecting from tv and internet. Lasted less the a year before stopped working. Waiting for a replacement from Tablo

Once I got used to a new way of navigating, it deserved a five-star rating. I also had to buy the fire stick because my TV didn't have Tablo included in the APPs list. The TV must be one of the earliest smart TVs.

This device is awesome.My husband was a little skeptical.But once we put it in and he was able to see all the movies and shows and different features that he could access, he was sold, I truly highly recommend this product.It cuts your capable bill too 0.Try it out

A nice little streaming/antenna device. Simple to use interface. Comes with a bunch of free streaming channels, then add your OTA channels They all appear on a channel guide where you can select various menus like favorites, categories, etc. you can add apps (i.e. Apple, Disney, etc). Tabs for them appear on the Home Screen. Had some hiccups registering the Tablo but they’ve got decent customer service and helped me through it (actually followed up with me to make sure everything was ok). In my case I got an antenna and pre-amp booster from Channelmaster.com or AntennasDirect.com. Avoid the store bought junk.

Great little box - easy set-up for me. Was concerned initially with reviews and issues indicated on some Reddit threads, but so far experience for me has been good. I should note that I do live in an area where i receive great OTA channel strength. Am using a 60-mile Best Buy Insignia thin antenna.

Did not pickup local channels as advertised. Can of been better using antenna

Love my tablo. get to watch anything I want recording deleting is very easy.I even added an external hard drive to it in case I needed extra storage.It's a great item

Had to have someone help me set it up but otherwise love it.

Works ok if you need in house streaming to mobile devices. Does not go to a PC, however, does work with Firestick. Has connection issues occasionally and initial setup isn't the easiest. Cannot connect to it outside the house.

I wanted to love the Tablo TV. I have put in extra effort to troubleshoot and contact Nuvyyo for support...but I am now a month in and it is not working out well. When it works, it is fabulous, the problem is that 50% of the time I couldn't get the Tablo TV app to start on the Roku or the Fire Stick I purchased for the sole reason of using Tablo TV. It gets hung on the strating screen or it tells me that I need to setup the Tablo TV device on my smartphone. The setup process isn't difficult...it is just INCREDIBLY SLOW. I have had to re-setup the device more than a dozen times because it quits connecting. ANd now the latest issue is...it won't play recorded content. We have not been able to watch a recorded show for over a week, There is SO much potential here, the product is simply not ready for the prieme time. It was a disappointing purchase as it stands right now.

If you are looking to get rid of your cable TV, this will allow you to record OTR channels. You will need an antenna and internet. I have found that it works very well. It allows you to record 2 shows at a time. You can schedule it from an app on your phone. The only slight drawback is that you can only schedule when you are connected to your home wifi.

Great item and value. works well and lets me have a second tv without adding to an already too high cable bill.

I love this thing! Compared to some of the negative reviews, I can only guess that they've made software improvements or that it depends on the equipment you're streaming with. This connected immediately to wifi and has worked flawlessly for me. It's remarkable to be able to browse guides for antenna channels and set series recordings the same as a traditional DVR on cable. I added an external 5TB drive and I can record almost 1000 hours if I want. And no monthly fees. The app for Nvidia Shield connects beautifully with no cords. I can fast forward commercials. With a good antenna, this thing is amazing!

It seems to work well. Sometimes when the app boots up it doesn’t like to load and i have to hit the back button for it to load. Definitely use an external hard drive, it increases the quality of the recording.

Use to have a TIVO which screws you with a subscription fee to use it. I love that this provides recording and programming grids for free. This is part of my cable cutting, since we use it to record mostly OTA programming.

Works great. Easy to set up. I enjoy having the ability to set recordings from my phone. Fast forward through commercials works great. Good tv guide built into app. Very good addition to my tv experience.

Bought this for my sister and B in law after they complaqined about dish costing over $200 a month. They had never reviewed the additional charges Dish adds as the sub ages. Now they have nothing but netflix and tablo with free streamers like pluto and freevee and are very happy . they do not record so that is not an issue in their small three tv home.
