I wanted to love the Tablo TV. I have put in extra effort to troubleshoot and contact Nuvyyo for support...but I am now a month in and it is not working out well. When it works, it is fabulous, the problem is that 50% of the time I couldn't get the Tablo TV app to start on the Roku or the Fire Stick I purchased for the sole reason of using Tablo TV. It gets hung on the strating screen or it tells me that I need to setup the Tablo TV device on my smartphone. The setup process isn't difficult...it is just INCREDIBLY SLOW. I have had to re-setup the device more than a dozen times because it quits connecting. ANd now the latest issue is...it won't play recorded content. We have not been able to watch a recorded show for over a week, There is SO much potential here, the product is simply not ready for the prieme time. It was a disappointing purchase as it stands right now.

This works great 95% of the time. Tablo does have some periodic outages

I live out in the Country in Ohio and it works great I have over 100 channels no complaints here. I have had no trouble with picture and recording works smoothly. This is a great buy. If anyone has questions let me know.

Great idea, and when it works, a great product, but the software and/or software is glitchy. They need to hire some good engineers (not programmers) and get the system working well.

Like it picture is better than the first generation but this one has more bugs in it. Hopefully there will be more updates. Over the air broadcast is more stable. But the free extra channels are buggy.

Some issues with signal cutting out while streaming, but generally picks back up with minimal loss in streamed content. Totally solves my problem of being able to watch broadcast football games without paying an arm and a leg for cable. App is functional, definitely worth the price, given it's equivalent to a single month of cable TV.

The Tablo 4th gen is a great device. Easy to use and I like the added features compared to the older model.

HAVE TO REBOOT ONCE IN AWHILE BUT WORKS FINE AND ZIP THRU COMMERCIALS. DRV 2 AT SAME TIME AND WATCH 3RD STATION.HAVE LOCAL AND FREE STATIONS THAT COME WITH IT 90+ STATIONS

I love Tablo! Combined with a digital antenna I can watch record and enjoy local television without selling a kidney.

The Tablo unit is very user friendly with many options to work with. The DVR portion is also a great feature to be able to record to watch later when life gets busy.

Awesome product! I can't explain how annoying it was not having a great signal on most of the TV antennas. The Tablo makes it so that I only have one antenna (positioned where it gets the best signal), and the Tablo then makes the antenna channels available via your WIFI through the Tablo TV app. This has been awesome as signal is perfect throughout all tvs and now only one antenna vs the 4 eyesores I had before.

This unit does a good job of streaming the TV signal to your TV via the Tablo 4 generation app. The unit requires a strong signal to prevent the stream from timing out. There is a built-in signal amp, but only 10 dB, I need to add a signal booster with my good antenna. I am in a rural area, so this would not be a problem closer to the transmiting antenna.

I’ve owned a few OTA DVRs and after a few months can say that this is the best one so far. Setup was fairly easy, I did have to unplug and restart once. I have it in an upstairs room near my antenna and have no trouble using on any TV in my house with the Tablo TV app. No subscription needed. Interface is pretty simple to use. The guide is familiar and is easy to read and set up recordings. The only problem I’ve had so far is when I try to sort channels by favorites. The guide doesn’t always reload and leaves me with an empty grid. So I leave it on the standard setting. I get the best signal with this DVR. With other DVRs, I have a few channels that I can get sometimes. With this, I get all my locals with a clear picture and no interruptions. I’m very happy I bought this and will keep an eye out for future generations from Tablo.

This basically is an inexpensive OTA Tivo DVR but the Tablo software /app isn't great but it is free. Wish that the App was native to Samsung TV and even though it says it works with Apple tv the app isn't ready yet. But for the price it's decent. Bottom line this device is as good as the over the area reception you get.

Does everything I want it to do! Great for recording OTA shows.

This product is not very good. It could be excellent if they could fix the glitching from antenna reception. I've got a top notch antenna and still...

Good device, difficult to find local signals but finally located a spot for the antenna. Good recorder, better than the big tv providers, and its all free. Paid $99 then Best Buy ran it for $59 after my 15 day limit.

This is my second Tablo as I used the original first generation for several years. I find this generation to be significantly better than my original. My only complaint is some of the apps for different streaming devices have some glitches. I'm sure those will be resolved over time. Still waiting for an Apple TV app which is promised in the future.

Really like the simplicity of the install and operation. Couldn't resist the sale price.
