Great idea, but incomplete execution
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great idea but does not yet have all the bugs worked out. It does not play well with my Roku. I understand the manufacturer is trying to resolve the problem.

Posted .Hey Michael– It’s not quite clear what issue you are running into with Roku, but if you can reach out to Tablo support with additional information we can provide suggestions and workarounds. There are two issues that we are aware of that are on the Roku side and we are currently working with their team to get them resolved.

Yay Tablo!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Tablo unit is very user friendly with many options to work with. The DVR portion is also a great feature to be able to record to watch later when life gets busy.

ok in an area with strong digital signal
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Flakey at times. Takes a long time to set up. Nice enough when it works. Requires a strong digital signal and high-quality antenna (antenna from Tablo does not work well and is comparable to a $10 option). Cannot use outside of the home network. Previous Tablo devices sound more flexible and better options.

Finally Got Tablo To Work
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the third Tablo device I’ve gotten. The first two didn’t work properly, so I sent them back. But the third time has been a charm. I added a flash drive for extra storage.

Tablo 4th Gen. Good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.set up instructions were correct, I did need to look up whether one could add to my Roku. Which it does,

Posted .There was an update for our Roku app that resolved the Roku 14 compatibility issue. If your Tablo software is up-to-date you should be able to use a Roku as long as it's not a Roku Express (HD).
Hope this helps.

Works Well and Easy to Set Up
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new Tablo was super easy to set up (in my case via Wi-Fi). Within a couple of minutes, the device found numerous OTA channels that came in perfectly. I added an external hard drive to the Tablo to record in the highest resolution possible. The program guide downloaded quickly and I set the device to record a couple of programs, which it did flawlessly. If you are thinking of cutting the cord, this is a simple, affordable way to do it. Just make sure you have a strong signal from your OTA antenna and a good Wi-Fi signal or a wired internet connection.

Tablo vs Paid cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good device, difficult to find local signals but finally located a spot for the antenna. Good recorder, better than the big tv providers, and its all free. Paid $99 then Best Buy ran it for $59 after my 15 day limit.

Good inexpensive replacement for FireTV Replay
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for use with an Insignia FireTV, replacing a FireTV Replay. As expected, it doesn't integrate as seamlessly with the FireTV as the Replay does, but the Tablo app was easy enough to use once we got used to it. The channel scan found quite a few more channels than the Replay using the same antenna, and the reception seems to be better--I don't get the drop-out that was pretty common when using the Replay as a tuner. I've recorded and played back a couple NFL games without a hitch, so I'm happy with this purchase. It's not completely perfect; the initial setup was a little glitchy, and the app crashes now and then when I try to open it for the first time, but it's nothing I can't live with. I haven't tried adding additional storage or using the included free streaming channels yet.

Tablo tv box
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s not all that great, it keeps going out and I have to reset the channels. The antenna is just fine and so is the tv so it has to be the tablo tv box that’s the problem.

Fails regularly just like previous generations
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace a tablo four tuner unit that failed about a month ago, I wish I would have been more patient and waited for TiVo to be back in stock. I had a previous unit for years, I would regularly have to unplug it for a soft reset or unplug the hard drive so it would recognize it, I hope this 4th generation unit would be better, but I had the same problems the first day, if you take over the air station seriously I suggest you have a backup either the TV without a DVR or home run HD, because this unit will not provide stable recordings and performance. Tablo seems unwilling or unable to put out a unit that functions as advertised without several problems, numerous updates never seem to help.

Almost there but not quite.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd give this a 5 star except the software or firmware is buggy. Time to time when you turn it on you get the Setup screen as if you are starting over and walks you through the installation process.

Good value for the price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a Sling Air first generation that was showing its age. I also got tired of scrolling through Sling screens to see recorded videos. The only thing keeping this from five stars is lack of ATSC 3.0 support and it sometimes takes the Home Screen a bit of time to load
