The Tablo has been a great way to watch shows at a more convenient time. It allows us to record many shows when we are not home. It helps with live tv and we can pause, rewind or fast forward. We can use the device on two tvs at a time. It is very easy to set up and use.

Very pleased with this project was easy to setup and I have most of the channels that I wanted. I think the total is 122. DVR works good still learning how to set and delete stuff.

So far this is working great. I am very pleased with it. I searched for a simple recording device for a while. This is it. Don’t need a lot of bells and whistles. We have an antenna and streaming wifi. So it is perfect.

I would give this 5 stars, but they do not have a computer site for their software developed yet. They say it is in the works .... so we'll see. It does a great job recording and even has some extra channels you can watch through their tv schedule.

Setup was quick and painless using Apple TV app and wired ethernet connection. OTA antenna was an Antennas Direct Clear Stream. We live 25 miles from Seattle and it connected with a total of over 150 OTA and internet stations. Highly recommended.

This is a very good product and I really like the DVR feature for all the many local HD channels I enjoy. Definitely worth the cost. Easy to hook up and use.

Cut my cable TV, and bought this Tablo as a DVR for recording off-the-air programming. Coupled it with a decent antenna and have not looked back. Although we did invest in some streaming services. Has plenty of room for recording, so I have not run out of room yet. If I needed more room I could attach an external HD. Highly recommended.

It seems to be working well. Once in a while there seems to be a glich in the system and I have to try and start it over again. It does what I wanted it to do, record programs so that I can watch them when I want.

Setup was breeze. But the Android app hangs often. Also take a long time to show the content once the app is started, Constantly getting weak signal, even when the direct connection to TV produces clear video. Good concept, but needs good execution.

This thing is amazing and I wish I had bought one years ago! I finally ditched cable after the rates got insane. I paired my Tablo with a basic Best Buy Essentials antenna and it works beautifully. Great picture quality and 5.1 pass through to my surround setup. I also appreciate that right after I bought it Tablo released an updated app for the AppleTV.

Best kept secret for off air DVR. Could be improved to have DVR available with OUT internet if using a local hard drive for recording storage.

Works great. No problem setting up and can record quite a few shows.

It is a great item. Cheaper than on TV and easy to use. Only thing is it doesn't work with Samsung Smart tv. But it is come later but it does work with fire stick.

Absolutely excellent product with my ordinary simple indoor antenna I can see almost 170 channels due to signal booster technology, I can watch all local channels on I pad my outdated non smart TVs with ROKU , Amazon Fire Stick, Android mobile, I phone but slightly disappointing won’t work on my Amazon Fire HD8 plus even specs match , customer services working on it

Works great for half the channels, the other half work better if my antennae is connected directly to my TV. There's also quite a few software glitches. Might try buying the next generation model if the reviews are better because it has a lot of great features.

The Tablo worked fine when we first got it. We went on vacation and when we tried to program it again the Tablo kept showing it couldn't find the internet, all our other devices were not having a problem. The other thing that we did not like was that it would not record a series, you had to program it ever day or week depending on the frequency the show. I will be returning it.

Your tv reception will only be as good as your tv antenna. The option of dvr is great. Still waiting for Apps to use on tv and not have to by Ruku. You still have to buy a hard drive to record effectively.

Excellent for streaming. We couldn’t get channel 7, even with an antenna. Bought this and it comes in GREAT!!!!! So does 180 more channels

It works what it is supposed to. There are a few things that it times seem not right. Remember this is new, be patient. I would not hesitate to buy it again. Good dvr.
