This device really is impressive. If you're looking for a super easy way to watch your live news and sports for free this your answer. Perfect HD plus ability to pause and record. We get 80 free channels! I know similar type products require a subscription and I really liked there is no cost to use Tablo. There are a few small bugs that I've come across but seems like they are putting out lots of releasing to continually improve it since launching. Can't wait until Apple TV release comes out soon. So far so good!

Works as advertised. Nice unit! Does more than I thought, it can record streaming as well as broadcast channels, Nice surprise!

It works what it is supposed to. There are a few things that it times seem not right. Remember this is new, be patient. I would not hesitate to buy it again. Good dvr.

To be fair, works as advertised. I was able to find and receive plenty of OTA stations. Streaming worked as well around the house. However, changing channels was painfully slow - paint dried faster. The interface was just ok as well. I had a third generation that died and I tired to replace. However, just too slow to bother with - I ended up returning it

I really like this Tablo. I love being able to pause live tv. The only problem is once in a while it goes back to the guide or locks up. Not sure why but I read online that this happens to alot of people.

Cut my cable TV, and bought this Tablo as a DVR for recording off-the-air programming. Coupled it with a decent antenna and have not looked back. Although we did invest in some streaming services. Has plenty of room for recording, so I have not run out of room yet. If I needed more room I could attach an external HD. Highly recommended.

I wish it supported PC and remote viewing. Also I spend hours trying to get all my local channels repositioning my antenna just to realize I got them all if I connect directly to TV instead. I stopped using it months ago and just watch local channels on one dedicated TV. Its a shame that the Tablo filter is more restrictive or there is some interference with the power/data cables.

When cutting cable tv this is the easiest way to go easy setup and easy to use clear tv and recording is simple

Purchased this so I could use an antenna to get OTA channels that my streaming provide would not offer. This makes it so I can use one antenna for all my devices through a convenient app. If you are looking to cut our cable I would recommend

This thing is amazing and I wish I had bought one years ago! I finally ditched cable after the rates got insane. I paired my Tablo with a basic Best Buy Essentials antenna and it works beautifully. Great picture quality and 5.1 pass through to my surround setup. I also appreciate that right after I bought it Tablo released an updated app for the AppleTV.

Works great. No problem setting up and can record quite a few shows.

The Tablo has been a great way to watch shows at a more convenient time. It allows us to record many shows when we are not home. It helps with live tv and we can pause, rewind or fast forward. We can use the device on two tvs at a time. It is very easy to set up and use.

Setup was breeze. But the Android app hangs often. Also take a long time to show the content once the app is started, Constantly getting weak signal, even when the direct connection to TV produces clear video. Good concept, but needs good execution.

TABLO works great at capturing your local on-air television channels

at first I was stumped but soon figured it all out with provided video. Once it was connected to the internet it all came together. I've cut the cord with my expensive tv provider and using a $6.00 tv antenna instead. I do miss a recorded show now and then because of a lack of a good antenna signal but I am still a happy camper with my tablo!.

I love my Tablo for free OTA Tv it helps to watch local NFL and college football games. Roku is easy to use as well. Overall the pricing at Best Buy was better than or comparable to other retailers and the customer service was immaculate. The staff was very knowledgeable and willing to help when asked about product or where products were located in store. Would definitely recommend Best Buy for any of your tech needs!

My elderly mom got rid of her cable but wanted access to the local channels throughout her home. I was able to connect her antenna then add this to her Roku and Firestick and she's able to operate with ease.

Works great for half the channels, the other half work better if my antennae is connected directly to my TV. There's also quite a few software glitches. Might try buying the next generation model if the reviews are better because it has a lot of great features.
