Works as advertised, setup was glitchy and took a factory reset 2x before it would work right. NO PC JUST ANDROID

We recently got rid of cable and realized we only basically had a computer monitor as a TV. This device has allowed us to watch our basic channels, plus more and have a cheaper option than buying a new TV. I like that it’s a one time purchase that gives many channels, but also gives a reasonable option if you want to subscribe and purchase more channels.

Setup was quick and painless using Apple TV app and wired ethernet connection. OTA antenna was an Antennas Direct Clear Stream. We live 25 miles from Seattle and it connected with a total of over 150 OTA and internet stations. Highly recommended.

Absolutely excellent product with my ordinary simple indoor antenna I can see almost 170 channels due to signal booster technology, I can watch all local channels on I pad my outdated non smart TVs with ROKU , Amazon Fire Stick, Android mobile, I phone but slightly disappointing won’t work on my Amazon Fire HD8 plus even specs match , customer services working on it

So far this is working great. I am very pleased with it. I searched for a simple recording device for a while. This is it. Don’t need a lot of bells and whistles. We have an antenna and streaming wifi. So it is perfect.

Tablo was so easy to install! Just downloaded the app and was watching tv from my antenna in no time. I only wish I had got this product earlier. Now I don’t have to connect my bedroom tv to a coaxial, and the channels don’t come in and out anymore. I love the ease of using the app. Best purchase I’ve made in a while.

What a great little device if you have a big house you don’t have to run cables from room to room just this little guy connected to the internet and to your antenna download the Tablo and with any streaming device you can get all your local channels very nice

Overall i really like the setup and functionality. But every recording i tried to watch would all the sudden freeze, and then skip to the end. I bought this specifically to watch college football. I would be right in the middle of the game, and then it would freeze up and skip to the end. So i would have to close out, reopen, and fast forward and try to find where i was at previously to continue watching. This happened several times on each recording, and on every recording i scheduled. Returned it and will be trying another option.

So much better than paying almost $100 per month for Youtube TV. There are some down sides, but for the difference in price, super-value.

Easy set up, little wonky until everything loaded and forst update. Looks great menu etc, but when openeing app after returning most times you have to use bsck button to relaunch it. Might just be my sony tv.

So far it has preformed as expected, but we will see once we start recording.

I bought this device for taping late night shows however both times it didn’t work. I had a message the signal was too weak. I have very good reception on my TV and had watched a program just before the one I was taping. I returned thendecicez

This small, smart unit is perfect! Pay once and get TV forever, with DVR functionality and up-to-date, subscription free channel guide and schedule. A little known fact, digital antenna HD TV is better quality than what you can get via TV streaming services such as YouTubeTV and Xfinity. This is particularly useful for watching the Super Bowl with higher definition and picture quality.

Have been a Tablo user for years. New generation offers free menu. Using this device allows you to leverage over the air recording, commercial skipping (fast forwarding through) and loosing the cable subscription. (does require internet). Much less expensive than competing TIVO.

Love it except for not being able to get the channel IWant without having to scroll through the whole channel lineup.

So, was recommended this product by a friend who has an older model. Got it setup in my house. Realized it does NOT work with Apple TV, ither through the old application or casting. Tried to login on another device. Would not take the password that I put into it. Tried the Tablo TV web site to login, it says I do not have an account. Tried to start another account with same email but says I have an account. Could not login or change password. No clear way to reset a password on web site or in application. While using the IOS application the guide kept dropping even though it had a channel listing. This has a two-star review since the box states watch on "any device" along with the apple symbol for compatible devices which is hugely misleading. Good luck if you buy this.

Crisper picture quality than the previous tablo box I had. Channels tune in a bit faster too. Overall a nice upgrade.

I've used Tablo devices for a long time and was glad to purchase one without a subscription. It's easy to install and has good picture quality.

So far, I really like it. Easy to use. Good interface. Suits my needs very well.

I have a tablo 4 tuner that I've had for a while, and I can't say anything but good about tablo. way better than tivo. this is the new model that i picked up for my mom and dad which requires no subscription for recording. plus comes with some built in storage, but you'll still need an external drive for a lot. which this one had 4 tuners, but can't beat the price. you run an antenna to one location in your house, and connect to your tablo and bing, just use the app on all your devices to stream tv. awesome
