Great for sports! 41 channels to record favorite shows, sports

This is a nice device but can be complicated to setup and you have to download an app on your phone and setup there as well, compared to Roku plug and watch.

The Tablo has come a long way but still needs polishing During my use and installation; the Tablo worked best for me hard wired. My antennae was internal but placed at the apex of the room as we don’t have access to the roof nor attic More update will have to continue for the guide to be up to date and also accommodate for the guide freezing up at times Thank you

Just started using this. Setup went very well. Works nicely making the "cord cutting" operation complete.

Works good so far. Did experience some issues setting it up. We paired this with a HDTV antenna that is up on the roof using an old Direct TV Dish. Reception is good. The system does have some "lag in it" frequently.

I didn't need this but sales person thought I did. I returned it.

This device’s ability to select, watch or record anything coming over your antenna is dependent on its guide being A) available and B) accurate. Since the Tablo guide is constantly missing data, displaying junk data or outright inaccurate data it’s unusable for it’ intended purposefrequently. Additionally, this device runs scarily hot and regularly loses some or all of it’s functions. Save your money until something less bug infested cones along. If you buy this you’re paying $100+ for the privelege of beta testing a device that should never had been allowed by Tablo to be sold. A frustrating unreliable mess. Zero stars. Stay away.

I bought this to use for local station recording. After I purchased it I found out I didn't really need it. It appears to be a good product. I just did not need it. Without really using it I have to say the research I did; it appears to be as it was described. I cannot say anything bad about it.

The 4th Generation has numerous bugs and is unstable. In many ways, it is a huge step backwards from the previous generation of this device (of which I own two). It often inexplicably fails to record shows (and signal level is NOT the issue), so it cannot be depended on to record important shows. The absence of a Windows app to view content is unforgiveable, especially when said app exists for the previous generation of the device! Tablo is under new ownership and the new owners seem to be taking the wrong direction. Don't take my word for it...read the professional review by Jared Newman published December 28th 2023 which tells the true story.

This OTA unit is extremely easy to set up and operate! It has an internal antennae amplifier built in to increase any weak signals in your area. I wish it came with a larger internal hard drive for recordings. It comes with a 128GB drive. Overall, this is a very good unit for the price!

I bought this watch and record network tv. Set up was easy. The guide which alerts you to new episodes. No need to pay cable bills or streaming services to watch and record.

Interesting little device to amp up streaming services.

So far so good. Hoping for an LG app soon. Easy to set up.

I purchased this based on a recommendation I read online, after I got rid of my cable. I love that I can still record my favorite OTA programs without the hefty cable bill! Oh and set up was super easy!!

Former BBY employee, needed a dvr for ota broadcasts. This does the job about 90% of the time. Sometimes doesn’t record the show at all after successfully doing it other times. Sometimes the video and the audio don’t match, too. Had I known what I know now, I would have purchased a different manufacturer, since this apparently has major glitches.

Does what I bought it for, works most of the time. I am satisfied with it.

It works well for what it is, i was hoping i could use the app to watch away from home, but you have to be on the same network the dvr is on to be able to watch your streams

I've wanted to buy something like this for a long time, but the reviews were always spotty. This 4th gen version is great. The tuner is as good as the one on my TV, and the streaming quality is very good. I use this to stream OTA channels to all of my TVs. I'm not as much interested in the DVR capabilities, but that all seems to work OK. One issue I've had is with the Roku app. Many people have complained about this, and have recommended picking up a cheap 'onn' 4K streaming box, which works great. On a final note, I wish the system could be updated to provide OTA tuner functionality when the internet is out.

This little device is well worth the money, the interface is similar to TiVo’s. Watching and recording is easily done. The video quality is perfect and initial setup simple. If you want to record of the air, this is the device.
