Like it over cable
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love using Tablo and it’s amazing to be able to use it in any room w/o cable and to record shows. However, it has its flaws—sometimes it doesn’t pick up the signal to channels but I still like it over cable.

Return
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy setup and easily connected to my other tv. But it showed weak channels and it was so hard to get out of that screen and time consuming.. . Great idea but didn't like enough to keep it.

Eh, over the air hasn’t changed much. Missed shows
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It isn’t exactly a cord cutter device. Limited channels. You still can not record over the air in bad weather. I cannot recommend it.

Local TV Access - no cable, streaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No more cable or streaming for local stations. MUCH easier to navigate, record... than Hulu! Purchase, set up up for Tablo & an antenna. No monthly charges!

Tabo
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works very well Especially with high-speed Internet, you do have to spend time and learn how to get all the features out of it

Works pritty good.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works good but sometimes takes a minute or two to connect to the smart TV. It takes not like just turning to the TV tuner and having it come up so plan a few minutes to connect to your live transmission.

In general, great
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In general, great. The only issue I have, and it might not even be Tablo's fault, is that some of the main channels, like Los Angeles' KABC, won't receive.

Posted .Hi Richard - thanks for the feedback! We're happy to hear you're enjoying your Tablo. As far as channel availability, that's dependent on the strength and quality of your antenna. The troubleshooting steps below should help with improving your antennas signal.
> Make sure the antenna is as high up as possible.
> Try to avoid splitting the coaxial connection - there is a significant signal loss when you split the connection.
> Reference the "TV Fool" website to ensure that your antenna is pointed in the correct direction - you can even point it specifically at channels you would like to focus your signal quality on.
> Improve your TV antenna's placement
> Shorten your coaxial cable; the longer the cable, the more lossy the connection will become.
> Conduct frequent channel scans to test your changes (SETTINGS> EDIT CHANNEL LINEUP > RESCAN)
If you're still experiencing issues, please reach out to support, they'd be happy to help!

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son worked hours on setting this up on a TV, which we previously had connnected to a Super Box. We had the antenna, but never did get it connected. Connected it back up to the Super Box. The reason I wanted Tablo is because of the recording feature. Oh well.....

Tablo is worthy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Tablo has performed very well! I’ve had to keep relocating the antenna but feel it’s been worth it for the number of channels I’ve been receiving. I’m pleased that I’m able to get most of the local channels.

Alternative to running wires.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent alternative to drilling through top plates and bottom plates however can be a little glitchy at times which I would imagine will be cleared up through updates. Overall happy with it.

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up, but worked only once and then it would no longer connect to local channels despite rebooting and resetting multiple times.

Bye-bye cable
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beats paying high cable bills. There is some lag time between functions but now that they fixed (kind of) the roku issue with a workaround itdoes what I hoped for at a great pricepoint

Great little OTA DVR
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and works well with my Roku. Wish we were able to access recordings remotely when away from my home Wi-Fi, but sadly, you cannot. Still worth a 5-star review.

Tablo works great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Tablo DVR works well. It took 4 hours to install it, due to an error on my part. I had to call tech support and install it all over again. But once installed it works. Installation is not very user friendly. I don't have a smart TV so installation was done using the Roku stick and my tablet. Now Tablo TV appears as a channel on the Roku stick. Everything is done through WiFi since Tablo has no HDMI cable. It has no remote either. The Roku remote does everything.

Replaced my Air TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tablo replaced my Air TV that worked will with Sling but was unable to pull in signals consistently. I lost a number of Football games. the Tablo does a much better job pulling in and holding over the air channels.
