I've wanted to buy something like this for a long time, but the reviews were always spotty. This 4th gen version is great. The tuner is as good as the one on my TV, and the streaming quality is very good. I use this to stream OTA channels to all of my TVs. I'm not as much interested in the DVR capabilities, but that all seems to work OK. One issue I've had is with the Roku app. Many people have complained about this, and have recommended picking up a cheap 'onn' 4K streaming box, which works great. On a final note, I wish the system could be updated to provide OTA tuner functionality when the internet is out.

Awesome add on If you have bad reception with you antenna for local tv this is the stuff. Get local channels clearly Record you favorites And there are over a 100 streaming channels All it took was wifi and an antenna

Interesting little device to amp up streaming services.

Problems with app, problems with set up- got it all set up and updated with a call to customer support then set to record world series game three- it made three recordings of audio only of less than 4 seconds, then recorded 15 minutes of the 5th inning. That limited reirding was glitchy and it would speed up randomly. That was it. Very disappointed. Watched without recording and a channel that comes in strong was glitching. Great idea but did notnwork for me. Returned.

I recently cut my cable cord. I thought purchasing Tablo TV would remedy my issues with obtaining local channels. To say the least Tablo TV is awful- the connectivity was horrible. Tablo never connected to my wifi wrost product ever. It was such a ridiculous waste of time- I don't recommend this item to anyone. Lastly, the commercials are very misleading.

Really stable connection via wifi. Much better than before. The extra free channels are also nice.

Was looking for a reliable way to record OTA programs on a DVR. Sorry to report these recent problems: Program guide is not reliable, often can't record programs. Error messages frequently. I am now looking for alternatives.

It works well for what it is, i was hoping i could use the app to watch away from home, but you have to be on the same network the dvr is on to be able to watch your streams

Just started using this. Setup went very well. Works nicely making the "cord cutting" operation complete.

It only works with TVs made in 2019 or after even if you own a Smart TV.

Very good option for multiple TV’s. Easy to set up. I’m using it along with Roku and get all the channels we need. Great option for free tv. Wish I would have heard of this option years ago. The savings by not using cable is $120/month.

Expect it will be good one day. As it stands now it crashes a lot and drops back out of the app. Very slow and sluggish as well. It will be a great tool if they get the bugs worked out. Really like it except for all the crashes by the software.

Not bad does not work with older models TVs , no chromecast , or airplay

The latest version of Gen 4 requires new app. The new app is not available for LG webOS, XBox or Windows App store. These are the platforms all previously supported in the old Tablo.This will only work with chromcast roku or apple tv. Also as soon I plugged it in I lost several channels.
