Pros: Good little DVR for OTA antenna. Don't have to run coaxial cable all over the house. I use it with my Amazon Fire Stick with no issues. Cons: Unlike previous versions of Tablo (black box) this DOES NOT work OUTSIDE the home. This was one of the main reasons I went with the Tablo, so I could watch it while traveling. Huge disappointment that this wasn't better labled. All reviews and instructions I found before my purchase gave info on how to connect outside the home. It took some serious digging to finally figure out the new iteration of the Tablo couldn't do this. Not cool. I would've looked at other options had I known this wasn't possible Does not work well with wifi--constantly loses connection. Works much better with an ethernet connection.

Don't bother. I've had this for less than 6 months, it's a piece of junk. It lags, have the time it shuts off for no reason, when it does work it's very buggy. They need to refund peoples money and shut down this company. It's total garbage.

This is the third type of OTA device I’ve had and this is the best one so far as being able to get all the OTA channels in my area. No problems with recording programs.

Great product easy to setup and use. Paired with right antenna, I get great reception with all the major networks.

This device meets the basics for antenna reception, but it could use some added features. First is speed. It does not respond quickly to inputs. Second, it is unfortunate that they don’t have apps for LG Samsung and other TVs. Third, Using it through Amazon fire stick has been a pain.

It generally does what we hoped it would, watch and record over the air programs. However, it randomly resets back to our Roku home screen and we have not been able to determine if it is caused by the Tablo, the Roku, our Wi-Fi, or our internet.

Yes, your current TV can tune off-air channels. But Tablo can record programs, and feeds the channels with all your smart TVs over WiFi / only one antenna needed.

I can’t review it because it would not work with my antenna and I returned it to Best Buy.

Seems to work as advertised. Unfortunately the receivers/tuners are not as good as that in my Sony TV. Therefore I couldn't relocate my antenna to a better reception spot in the house.

Most of the setup is easy, but could use a little more information. The use also needs more information. I do like the prduct and love being able to record with it.

Does not work well. Connective and user interface have many glitches.

Quite a few problems compared with the network-connected Tablo tuners of yesteryear. Feels like this one was rushed to market, a big attempt at collecting data and pushing out streaming-related advertisements. The OTA channels work okay, but they require an active internet connection, for some reason. The HDHomeRun tuner is probably your better bet.

This is recommended I purchased this with my TV so that I can record things could not get this to work

Didn't really work for me, returned it. I've kept using me Nvidia.

Tablo support was great helping us set this up. Everything works as promised.

Purchased thinking it would be a digital antenna and we would get the news, but that was not the case.

Absolutely love the Tablo. I’m able to get local over the air programming in all my TVs with only one antenna. Also a built in DVR. I ❤️ it.

Love it but goes in and out doesn't always record my shows. Love pause feature. I was hoping to record everything so i can get rid of streaming channels.

Saw online someone recommend a RCA multidirectional flat antenna, with that works flawless. Like cable with no bill on local tv!

This item has some good features and the concept is fine. The video quality isn’t as good as what I can see when hook up directly to my tv.
