I have tried an earlier version and kept having problems with the hard drives failing but this one appears to be much more stable.

Should have stuck with TiVo. All kinds of errors. You can clearly it recorded more of the program but it will just stop playing the recording because of the signal but it’s there to view you just can’t continue to view it. It’s crap. Save your money.

Hooked Tablo by wifi to wifi and while it took 45 min or so to complete connection & downloads has worked well since. Still trying to determine if ethernet connection is viable.

Waiting for the writer's strike to end so we can see our favorite night time shows return. Practicing so we can see shows in the morning. Nice little unit.

Allows me to get my local stations with my small external antenna and play through fire tv device. The built in guide lets me schedule recordings in advance

It was good, did what it was supposed to. This newest generation and its associated Fire TV app are by comparison much better.

I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it for it to work. Guess it doesn't work with Chromecast!

I researched Tablo extensively and did not see smart TV as a requirement anywhere. Now I either have to pay to return it or buy, more $$, a streaming device.

Take the time and watch a few videos on how to use it and you'll definitely get your money's worth.

When it finally did complete the setup it was only visible for a few minutes on my TV then mybTV said the device was no longer on the network, it was visible on my phone for a few more minutes then it also disconnected from my phone. I will be returning tomorrow as I don’t have anymore time to waste dealing with this.

I cannot gig the manufacturer for that but BB might want to reevaluate return time for certain items. 2 weeks went by quickly
