Mildew builds in two different places in the lid if left over night without breaking the lid down and cleaning. Had to throw both of them away. After removing the plastic seal to clean, they eventually split. Waste of money.

Posted .We are so sorry you are having issues with your bottle. We do recommend to clean the lid with baking soda and O-ring separately and let dry completely to avoid any mildew. If you have any issues with your O-Ring please contact customer service for replacement options.

I only used it for keeping hot liquid hot for extended period. It's supposed to keep hot water hot for 12 hours with vaccum insulation. When I tried it the first time, at 12-hour mark, the water is simply luke warm. Compare to my other water bottles, they kept steaming hot water after 12 hours. If you are looking for keeping hot liquid, look else where.
