I don't use it for any other beverages so can't attest to how it keeps stuff hot or how easy it is to clean if using something like soda, but for me and my ice water, it's great. Keeps water ice cold all day if I fill it 1/3 to 1/2 with ice and the rest water. Only negative would be that if you drop it from a height, it'll dent easily but that doesn't adversely affect the functionality.
