typical Will Ferrell movie...the beginning is good but you start to lose interest

This movie is really funny. Will Ferrell is his typical self.

Older but still hilarious! Great source of laughter.

My boys liked it but as for me it was too boring... But for me I would still prefer to watch it more than a soccer game.

Review is for the actual product not the movie. Movie is awesome! But I purchased this because it says it includes a digital copy. Box came and shows Blu-ray only. Took it to the store and had them open it. No digital code so I returned it.

The movie itself is okay. But like always, everything Will Farrell touches, it becomes unfunny.

Man I love my PlayStation3! World's cheapest Bluray player and I even get a free Bluray movie for my first taste of full high-definition glory! But wait- no HDMI cable in the box? Not even component cables?? What gives!? ----- Ok, I'm done beating the poor, dead horse... ----- All joking aside, I was actually very excited to open up the box to my PS3 and find this neat little freebie inside! Kinda made that whole 'campin out all night in the freezing cold' thing seem a little more worth it! As a general neutral to all things Will Ferrell, I didn't expect much from Talladega Nights- though not going into the movie with high expectations is probably what allowed me to enjoy it so much! This is definately one of Ferrell's funnier movies and one I probably would have bought had it not been included when I got my PS3. From the first race, to his fall from grace, Ferrell's unique sense of humor plays the perfect part to it all. Aside from a few so-bad-its-funny special effects (which I'm sure were intentional), there's really not much I can fault this movie for. Pretty good acting and one-liners aplenty, if you are a fan of Will Ferrell, this is a movie I'm sure you'll enjoy over and over again!

This movie is by far the best movie about NASCAR racing ever. Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are ridiculously funny in one of the funniest movies of all time. There are very few moments in this movie where you're not laughing. Another thing that suprised me was how accurate the older race scenes were. In scenes that took place in the 1990s it really looked like older NASCAR racing: the cars, the pit crew, the suits all make these scenes look older than they really are. This movie will appeal not only to NASCAR fans but to anyone with a good sense of humor.

This movie was hilarious, even though I am not a NASCAR fan. Will Ferrell is the best! He and John C. Reilly make a great team (Shake and Bake!). You don't have to be JUST a racing fan to watch this movie. Make sure you watch the outtakes and extended scenes...I literally cried laughing. I'm not sure anyone would buy this movie just because of the higher resolution on Blu-ray. It is just a good, funny movie to have in your collection.

My cousin in law brought this movie over to our aunts house on a Sunday and I have to admit I did not want to see it at first. When it came out in the theaters I was so sure that this was going to be a dumb movie...boy was I wrong!!! This was one of the funniest movies that I have seen and I would recommend others see it if they want a good laugh!

This movie will leave you rolling in the aisles with laughter. Will Ferrell Is hilarious but the children in this film MAKE the movie. The kids are irreverent, unruly and just plain naughty. The one-liners in this hit film are worth the price of admission!

Very funny movie. I saw it at the theater when it came out and really enjoyed it. Since then I have watched it several times. It is the kind of movie that really grows on you. I think it is more funny the 2nd and 3rd time you see it

A funny movie that sometimes goes a little bit overboard on the humor, but if you liked Anchorman, than this is the norm. Will Ferrell is doing the same thing Adam Sandler did in the late 90s, after leaving SNL and making funny cult-like movies. So enjoy, and say your prayers to little sweet Baby Jesus

Will Pharrel is great in this not-stop laughing comedy. The plot is very creative and it is very entertaining. However, there were a couple parts in the movie (including the ending) where I didn't like how things played out and therefore I give this movie 4/5 stars. Will Pharrel at (one of) his best!

will ferrell at his best when you hear that mr. ferrell is making a film you know that its going to be funny because will is always bring that charcter to life and who doesnt like Will Ferrell

This movie shows that Will Ferrell can play any character. He is great in this movie as he plays Ricky Bobby racing legend. from start to finsih i was slapping my knee! Great movie

I never knew a movie about Nascar would be so hilarious. Yet again John C. Reiley and Will Ferrell tear down the house with laughs.

This movie is so freaking funny, I loved it! Watched right before I went to my first Nascar race, it gave me a funny way to look at it!
