I place a DVD into the TaoTronics Portable Player and waited 10 min and it will not upload. All my other Portable DVD where over 2 years old before they broke down.

Faulty dvd player

Finally, the machine “ate” the chip and without opening up the machine, I couldn’t retrieve the sd chip. The dvd reader portion was a bit noisy. Picture quality acceptable. Overall. I cannot recommend this device and have very disappointed.

Speakers didn’t work

I tried calling the manufacturer customer service for help with the speakers & I got the run around. So, I took this ‘defective’ dvd back to the store. Very disappointed in TaoTronics.

The sound doesn’t work

I gave it to my adult son with autism for his graduation, due to pandemic he won’t have a graduation so I thought at least he would have a present. I forgot to keep my receipt, so I don’t know what to do.

Sound and Freezing Trouble with TaoTronics player

He has been using it for about a month and already has two problems when using it. First, the video will freeze for no reason without pressing pause. Second, after watching DVD player for a short period of time, the sound will stop working without mute being pressed. After adjusting it (cutting it off and on, resetting it, unplugging it, etc), the sound will come back on briefly and then go off again the entire time player is being used.

I felt the extended warranty was not worth purchasing and bestbuy representative are never avaliable to assist me with help.
