Please turn it off at the base
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the first one, and just loved it. So I bought a second. Within a month, the sound of the second on blinked in and out, and the first one produced sound with no picture, so I had Best Buy replace the second, and they got the first one to work again. The trick is that you CANNOT just turn this machine off from the remote control; you MUST turn it off at the base of the machine itself. I've been turning it off completely at the base after use since I got the replacement in March, and performance has been much better.

doesn't appear to play MP4

The instruction manual only lists MP3, not MP4. One mp4 gets 'video codec not supported', and the other gets 'single elapsed'. very disappointing.

Returning it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not easy to operate and instructions do not have a dot to dot how to. My mistake it ONLY plays DVD's not Blu-Ray. I like the portability of it, but only DVD's says "No disc" on all Blu Rays.

Not good for car....

The DVD player stopped working about 10 days after we bought it, but started back within 2-3 days after. I was using the USB port, but now the DVD player won't play anything.
