This fan works great keeping the laptop cool while I work. Only issue was running out of USB ports on the laptop and this mat required a USB-A connection and I already have a printer, external HD, mouse, and keyboard that all needed slots. I bought a mini USB hub port and that solved the issue.

So I purchased this to help keep it cool. It works very well. And is exactly the same foot print. Does the job.

I admit I change them out once a while even it they still work fine as well as power surge protectors.
