The charger is fine but I find it frustrating that they don't just sell replacement tips. I lost my adapter tip and was forced to purchase a whole new power cord for $60

We chose this charger because it was versatile and would work with all of the laptops in our home. It has worked well, charges just as quickly as my factory charger and I like the long length of the cord. The only issue I have is that the way the charger plugs into the computer makes it easy to get tugged on at an angle, therefore making it loose at the connection site. Other than that, I would recommend this charger.

Was told it would fit my HP - Pavilion x2 2-in-1 11.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - 4GB Memory - 128GB Solid State Drive, but it did not ..gave it right back to Best Buy

This power cord is less expensive than purchasing one from my laptop manufacturer but the issues with my computer were not worth the discount. After using the powercord with my Toshiba laptop the laptop stopped recognizing any powercord including a Toshiba one. I then read my Toshiba warranty information and it stated that using a powercord other than Toshiba's powercord may cause your computer to have problems and will void your warranty.

The charger that you put in the laptop kept coming loose or out. Also was disappointed about the new return policy that is only 15 days.

A very inexpensive laptop charger. It does not charge all "compatible" laptops; it fit but would not charge my dell.

Worked generally, but would overheat & shutoff pwr to laptop when gaming in the hi gaming mode.

It never had a good connection i the power outlet....quickly got worse and then ceased to work. Best Buy said I would have to deal with the manufacturer and not return it. It's also too large to be practical in the car. I couldn't even use it in a rental car- an Impala.

This item probably works for computers that have been manufactured more recently than mine. I have a 2005 Toshiba and even though it was supposed to be universal, none of the attachments fit my computer.

Just one of the charging heads fit into my Toshiba laptop and it burnt the opening for charging and damaged the whole hard drive. I was informed that I'll need about $350 to fix it!

I called Targus's number from the store to confirm that this would work with my laptop. Although they said it would. It doesn't stay plugged into the laptop

The box said it fits all laptop but it doesn't. I was very disappointed. Its not cheap and i was mad.

The cord does not stay in the phone and it's not long enough. If I had the packaging I would return it.

It works but not as it should. Was supposed to work to charge our computer, just not a good fit.

I frequently bring one of my laptops with me when I travel and about one in every ten times, I forget to pack a power adapter. This time, I found the answer at Best Buy with a Targus universal adapter for $60. It has adapters for virtually all makes and saved me on this trip. Never again will I be caught with a dead battery.

I purchased this laptop charger for my Sony laptop. I was having some difficulty finding a charger for my laptop that wasn't outrageously priced. I was a little hesitant because it was rather inexpensive. I was worried it would be poorly made. On the contrary, it seems to look and feel high quality! It does what I need it to do, which is charge my laptop. Is does not get hot like the Sony charger that my laptop came with. It also comes with a long cord which is a plus compared to the original charger my laptop came with. I have had it for a while now and have had no problems with it. Would definitely buy another one if my other laptop charger breaks.

I purchased this when my original Dell laptop charger stopped working. I have been using it for about a month with no problems. The adapters allow for many computers to use the charger and determining the proper charger was very easy with the enclosed directions. Unit does not get overly hot. I think most universal laptop chargers are over priced but this was the cheapest I could find. Overall I am pleased with it.

The charger does what is intended - charge my laptop. My original charger got damaged to the point it would not charge anymore, so I had to run out to Best Buy late at night. I was delighted that they had a universal charger...I was afraid I would have to order one online from Asus, and how would I do that if my laptop battery was dead? I was a little disappointed at the price of about $60, but didn't really have a choice whether to get it or not. There are several tips included and I was happy that one of them fit perfectly into my laptop. The cord comes out of the tip pretty easily, which is good if you want to remove the tip, but bad when the cord gets caught on your leg as you're moving your laptop and then you have to take everything off your lap to get up because the cord is now on the floor, not charging your battery. Other than that, the charger is the same as the one that originally came with my laptop.

We aren't sure how my son's charger got a knick in the cord which shorted it out, think maybe my darling Fido missed her chew toy. Either way it was off to the store to replace the charger. There were several available but this one was priced in the middle and had a few options of tips and was compatible with our brand of laptop. Purchased it and came home and plugged it in. Charged up his laptop and all was right once again. Has worked perfectly since purchase.
