The two pieces come apart constantly. I spend an absurd amount of time trying to find the two parts to reconnect them. Otherwise this is a good replacement for my Sony Vaio laptop charger that quit working.

I think they have changed the design enough that this one will last longer. the one i bought last year from the same manufactor had a different design and broke within a year. This one seems much sturdier!

Apparently my Toshiba needs a different size adapter than most other Toshiba's. I had a really time finding an adapter both online and in stores. This one works great so far and was very reasonably priced.

My sons laptop cord stopped charging his laptop so I purchased this as a replacement and it has worked perfectly and seems to be a lot better quality than the original cord that came with the laptop. I would definitely purchase this item again and have recommended this to a couple people who have had similar issues. They were pleased as well!

I can use one charger for many different things because of ALL the adaptable parts that came with the universal charger kit!

I bought this as a spare travel laptop power source. I was told it was compatible with HP, Dell, Sony computers. Turns out it's not, so be sure to take your laptop with you before you buy it. Rather disappointed, as I still have to buy another HP power source for my wife's laptop (which was the main reason I bought this "universal" power source in the first place). As far as recommending it, I checked Yes, but again, check its compatibility BEFORE you buy it.

Good replacement charger, use care not to unplug wire from adapter when moving around. All around a good unit.

It was to replace a charger that was lost for a Compac computer. It works for what it was bought for.

Better than my last one for my HP. The 90 degree angled head is better for your laptop because it does not place strain on your motherboard where the power jack is soldered to it the way a straight jack inherently does. Also, the touch pad on my laptop works better when plugged in than with the previous power supply I was using.

The only drawback is that the cord it replaces has no ground, this one does, limiting where I can plug it in. Other than that it does what it should. It is one of those item that, if it doesn't draw your attention, it is good. Extraordinarily adequate product.

I bought this charger for a Toshiba laptop. The connection for the Toshiba did not work. Apparently it has to match the Toshiba connection exactly, can not be off in the least. I returned it and got a refund. I bought a charger specifically for a Toshiba.

I need a Laptop charger and this one was compatiable for the Laptop I have.

This was an emergency replacement to a computer-specific charger. It worked, I was excited. With my particular laptop (an Acer that's a few years old), I HAD to have the connector straight up or down. Then eventually, just straight up. About a week ago, less than a month after I got it, it QUIT working. Apparently, it's no longer making a connection, and it just spins round and round in the connector plug hole thing (yes, very technical term). I am trying to find where I put all the extra nibs so I can return this thing that unfortunately turned out to be a piece of short-lived junk to the store.

What can you say about this laptop charger... It charges my computer. The only problem that I have with this is that because it is made to be able to be used with many different computers, it has removable tips which can come loose, forcing you to buy replacement tips, or if you need it in a hurry, buy a whole new charger.
