Its an excellent product for the money. I have been using this with my Toshiba laptop, and so far no problems.

This is a good product but too expensive. If your charger goes bad and you can't get one under warranty, this is your option. Save the jacks somewhere safe in case you need one some day. When I bought this the jacks weren't sold separately.

The only reason I gave this item a poor rating is because while the packaging says that Dell is one of the brands it was compatible with, that was not the case. This was not a true charger. While it did provide power to my computer, it did not re-charge the empty battery. I did not need just a power source, but a power/recharger. I would imagine it would be a good product as long as it is fully compatible with the desired device.

overall i give it a 5.needed to replace my charger.

This is a good product except for the fact it is really easy to lose one of the interchange tips. They should have installed a storage box or bag either on the charger or the cord so you would not misplace one.

The charger either falls out of the laptop, or the cord detaches from the universal tip. You have to keep a constant eye on it, or you'll get a dead laptop.

it is unfair to make an accurate assesment due to the fact that is would not work with my Laptop. However, it DOES state that it would and it was an inconvenience to have my PC diagnosed to find the problem

Bought on price and brand name (Targus makes good laptop briefcases, I guess. Not the same thing really). Computer started flaking out last week; pretty quickly identified the cable as the problem, after replacing the internal jack itself and testing the battery elsewhere. There's a short somewhere near the "multi tip" end of the cable. Don't know if there's a warranty. Even if there is, I have no Proof of Purch after 6 months... Alas.

This cable does not work with Dell computers. The mHz is not correct and it does not charge the battery. The computer must remain plugged in for it work. threw away the package and can't take it back, i'm out $70.00 basically.

The A/C output is not listed anywhere on the package or in the advertised "specifications", which are basically just a list of laptops the power adapter is supposedly guaranteed to work with. Using this adapter with an ASUS G73 results in Windows 7 "lagging" be prepared to stare at a system busy cursor for 10 seconds or longer while opening a program as simple as a web browser. Playing a game more advanced than minesweeper results in the power adapter turning off and not restarting without being disconnected from both the receptacle and the computer. Don't buy this for anything that doesn't run on AA batteries.

all I required was a Dell power cable but I had to purchase an expensive power adapter just to get the cord.

There are several plugs that acome with this cord so that it can fit different brands of laptop. After using it for less than four weeks the connection is loose and I have to hold the wire in order for it to charge. Will be returning it tomorrow.

used 1 time, on the 2nd day, it quit working. not very good charger

I have to constantly wiggle connector to get it to charge.
