I have tried less expensive covers and the gripping corners routinely break. I decided to try this older brand and am much happier with the quality. In the early days of laptops Targus was the brand of case you wanted to protect that investment. What makes this case better for iPads is the “plastic” gripper is soft, not rigid hard. Prior cases I had routinely broke on the corners. The external case is also higher quality. Finally, an added benefit is that the iPad can rotate within the case so you can sit it in either landscape or portrait orientation.

Bought this for my son who is 5! He drops it all the time and it stays out! This is the best case for him! It’s not as bulky as an otter box and still protects it

This case is great looking and it offers awesome protection for an iPad. It does add some bulk to the iPad, but it does offer different viewing angles. It does what it is intended to do.

The Targus-Classic VersaVu folio for Apple IPad is a good investment. It gives great protection plus the rotating case makes it easy to view it in portrait or landscape positions.

I love this case. I've been using it with the new iPad 6th Gen. It does a great job of protecting the screen when I'm not using my iPad. The stand feature also works really well.

Needed a case for an iPad that I use at a school. This one is sturdy, fits well and the bright red color helps keep it from hiding. I can set it as a viewing angle for student use with the elastic band. One drawback is that you must hold the case carefully to use the camera on the iPad.

I bought this case to protect our new iPad. It is very protective and I like how it is also a stand with a rotating feature. The elastic band works great to keep it closed when not in use.

This case protects really well (I had it for a 4th gen iPad and had no damage because of it), isn't too heavy and the ability to stand the iPad up in either portrait or landscape is great.

Targus makes great products for the price. You could spend more, but this does the job.
