When I got a new iPad Air i couldn't find a case like my old one. This is the closest and works really well. I wanted a case that the top flap would fold under the iPad its self to form a 3 dimension raised bed to keep the iPad at an easy to read but stable angle. (Think long triangle) the top also has the grooves most covers have but I find that the slightest bump and the iPad flattens. The iPad can be rotated so that the button is on the correct side whether your have your iPad slanted standing up high or laying slanted low. The cover also closes the iPad to to sleep mode. I love it.

This is my second one, the first just wore out due to me taking my ipad everywhere, all the time, for the last 4 years or so. Does it's job, protects the ipad and is a good stand when you need one.
