I recently updated to the new iPad and sold back my iPad Air 2. The overall dimensions are similar, but the new iPad is a little thicker so the casi I had for the previous device did not grip securely. Although the new iPad and this case are a bit heavier than what I had, it is very versatile with its ability to be rotated around. Also, we had the trade in Best Buy gift cards from traded in iPhones and iPad to apply to new cases.

Case is lightweight and protects ipad really well.

This iPad cover is super. Holds up the iPad in a vertical position without falling over. The iPad stays put in the grooves that hold it in the horizontal/vertical position. The cover protects the device on all edges and corners without covering up any part of the screen. Automatically puts iPad to sleep upon closing. Excellent product.

Oh man! Words alone cannot describe this iPad case! First off, it's a beautiful red color. So ... you know ... picture that. THEN imagine your 5th generation being snugly nestled inside of it. Go ahead and try. Guess what?? It's ten times better than what you've imagined! I'm not sure if they meant for this to happen or not but there are holes in the back of the case which allow the camera and the Apple logo to show through so you can STILL take pictures of weird people on mass public transportation as well as letting everyone know that you still support Apple even though they're embroiled with that whole child labor brouhaha going on right now. Granted, the iPod is sold separately but if you don't already have one, it's okay. Because you can still use this on mass public transportation. Just hold it close to your face and wiggle your tongue through the big hole in the middle while raising your eyebrows up and down really fast. People will think you're hilarious! A must have!!

While my previous Otter worked very well, the one I got for my iPad 9.7" pro was too heavy and did not have positions to hold the tablet at an angle where it could be read while sitting on a desk. This Targus has both a landscape and a portrait setting and several positions to set. It is far superior, and still protects the device.

This is a sturdy yet versatile cover for my new iPad. The price was reasonable and of good quality.

The Versavu covers works well with my iPad. I purchased it as a replacement for another cover that had worn out. What I like about the Versavu is ability to easily rotate the iPad from portrait to landscape and vice versa. This unit also has several different slots for viewing the tablet at different angles. These were all important features for me. Didn't rate it as excellent as it tends to slip out of the slot too easily so there's room for improvement.
