Also, the cover is quite heavy—why buy an iPad Air to reduce weight & then use this cover? I regret buying it but since you can’t open the package in the store, I just trusted the Targus brand. Bad choice

I thought that some resistance on the rotation would be beneficial. It does an adequate job of protecting the iPad. I have not traveled with it yet, so we shall see.
