They aren’t very deep. Totally irritating. I am off to purchase something elsewhere that will actually work. Don’t waste your time, money, or patience purchasing this. Also, the cover is quite heavy—why buy an iPad Air to reduce weight & then use this cover? I regret buying it but since you can’t open the package in the store, I just trusted the Targus brand. Bad choice

The folding and rotation are cool but inhibits the iPad ability to be held comfortably. I do find myself taking my iPad out of the case for presentations and only using it to travel with my iPad in case when it's in my bag.

When the lid is open - it flops around and doesnt really "fit" anywhere.
