Its very versatile in that it allows me to put the ipad in landscape or portrait configuration without much trouble. Plus, it has a slot to hold i pen too.

The only drawback is that when the iPad is installed, the top cover doesn’t fully align with the bottom case, leaving the iPad partially exposed.

ipad pops out of the surround frame on the cover

Not for me. The ipad kept popping out of the frame (its a soft flexible surround) and as I use my ipad a lot with the cover in back for single hand flat use it was not a good option.

Nice looking Case

There are other cases that fit the IPad, but they are almost $100. After buying a brand new IPad, the last thing I wanted to do is spend another $100. So this case was between $40-50 and will protect my iPad from drops and spills.
