I Tried this without reading reviews or doing any research. Didn't work with my HP laptop. I couldn't even install it. After looking at users on YouTube, I found out that this was not a good product to purchase.

Saw it on sale. Bought it to give a try. Works okay.

Lock was not standard. Salesperson said it'd work.

The lock actually wouldn't work. We set up the code but it would not open back up. Thank goodness we tested before putting it in computer. Return was easy though.

The lock was the wrong size for the computer we got and had to return it. They should have sizes or manufactures of laptops that it fits to.

Was told this was a universal laptop lock. Certainly doesn't fit Lenovo laptops way too small!

This thing did not fit my laptop. I brought it, took it back, brought it again and then let a store representative set the combination just to make certain that I was doing it correctly. It still did not work. Then it came with some sort of table bolting mechanism or thingamagig.

I bought this lock for my son to take with him to college and use with his new gaming laptop. It locks but the tumbler doesn't work correctly and it's easy to figure out the combination. I had to return it.

Poor quality; did not work out of the box. Numbers for security code do not turn. Returning. Not recommended

It would not stay connected to the slot on my computer. The dial would not turn .

This lock was very difficult to use. The combo was very hard to reset.

I have used this product for several of the computers where I work. It is a solid piece of equipment. It works well and does what it is supposed to do. It is easy to change the code and it is easy to attach to a laptop or desktop.

this cable fit and worked nicely for my laptop and was a reasonable price

I know these are usually used for laptops, though I had a TV that I didn't want stolen and it had a kensington lock slot on the back. However, the cable is really weak and thin. The thief who stole my TV used a long steak knife and cut through it in a matter of seconds, then walked out the door with my Flat Screen TV. I would have gone with a much thicker cable. This was the only thing the store had in stock when I was asking about kensignton locks. The only pro I would give, is that the wall hook ring looks pretty sturdy and I like the design of it. If you want to ensure your stuff doesn't walk away so easily, find something with a much thicker cable. This product gives the illusion of security. Perhaps go to a hardware store to determine just how thick of cable you would be comfortable with, then search online for a kensignton lock that offers that thickness. If I ever get another TV with a kensignton lock slot, I will definitely by a product with a thicker cable.

Works fine. No problems. Luckily it hasn't been tested on performance yet. The cable length is a bit short - Like on many things the manufacturer has to keep the cost down somewhere.

Got this to make sure Laptop doesn't disappear. Not the most secure but better than nothing

This kind of security is very good for my computer.
