It's still great to have ontop of your laptop, but other than that, I'd say don't buy it. My laptop is usually around 45C and with this, it was getting 45C sometimes, but usually 50C. I think that it really depends on your laptop, but for most, the cooling a laptop already does is enough. Also, the connector to charge it is very out of date, and very old. Not even sure what it is called.

This product solved that problem. The problem is that it stopped working after about three weeks. The USB chord had to be constantly moved around just to get the fans to work. I tried getting a refund or even store credit but Best Buy policy wouldn't allow it. I would suggest you not to purchase this mat.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just wanted a simple USB cable. I looked online and thought I saw it as $5 and in store. I get to the store and found only 2 cables and both were $30. One employee was helping another customer, said that this was all they had. He then tried to raise help on his com. 2 co workers were sitting 20 feet away and did not respond because they were too busy in their conversation. When I walked up, they did help me, but proceeded to tell me that a USB cable is a specialty item. Since when is a USB cable a specialty item? Maybe 10 years ago. I will be returning my cable.
