QUIET! Performs as stated. Keeps the laptop cool and of course itis very light weight, so it is portable.

The cooling mat has holes all over it and this DOES make a difference. Especially if you've got a hot laptop. I do, and this particular model keeps it cool the whole time.You can feel the air coming out all over the mat and it's very cool air. The fan is a bit noisy, but it's a fan; you have to expect some noise. I noticed it fades into the background quickly. I've read the reviews on cooling mats and know they're made cheaply. I also know that Targus is listed as the best of them all. Although I would still treat the mat w/kid gloves, I would recommend it.

My laptop was always overheating till I bought this product. I was hesitant at first but after use it saved me money from going with other alternatives.

I looked at lot of reviews for cooling system. Lots have great features and plush designs. I like this for the way it meets basic needs. I understand getting my cloud storage in better shape will help with computer storage and over heating issues too. All in all, happy with the purchase.

Iv'e had this for about 2 weeks now, and I have 15.6" laptop. This works great. Keeps my laptop cool. Best buy's description of fan speed is false. It does not go 2 rpm, it probably goes 2000 rpm . It works just fine, and if you want a good laptop cooler, this is a good one to get, and reasonably priced. It does not stand tall like some but gets the air moving. Don't be afraid to buy this.

My Dell workstation was heating up very badly. Possibly a lot of dust in the fans inside. I did not have the time to clean it so I went and bought this fam mat. This solved the problem. Decent Build quality and Quiet Fan. Hope it lasts long

Small and slimline used for under my PS4 pro blends nicely and does it's job. If used for a laptop I might be concerned as there is no lip, but the rubber feet might be just fine as well. However I don't use it for a laptop so really can't say. Otherwise I have no concerns

The Tragus Dual Fan chill mat cooling system was excellent for my laptop. It keeps it from getting hot when i am on it all day. I am a college student and found my laptop would get over heated but not since I received my cooling pad. Thanks Best buy for a great deal and a great product.

I bought this to prolong the life of my work laptop as the fan is not doing its job and it is amazing. It's fairly quiet and very powerful. My laptop runs like a champ again. Thanks Best Buy and Targus for having my back during Covid-19! Rally happy with this cooling pad!!!

I had read other reviews and knew exactly the product I was getting. The fan does make a little bit of noise but I'm in a hot area, so I have other fans going at all hours and don't notice the noise much. It does what I need it to do--I plug it in before I fire up an Adobe program or a video game. It has kept my laptop noticeably cooler. I only give it 4 stars because I can't give it 4.5--it would be nice if there were an on/off switch or toggle. It does need to be plugged in ahead of each use. I just wish it had an on/off!!

It fits great in back packs and is super light weight honestly good bang for your buck

My MacBook still gets pretty hot while using programs like Logic Pro but this fan has stopped it from getting so hot that I have to take a cool down break. It isn’t too noisy but you can definitely hear the fan spinning. It does feel like cheap plastic but I don’t plan on moving mine around at all, so build quality wasn’t a huge concern for me. Overall, it works as described and fixed the issue I was having while recording in Logic Pro. For the price, I would definitely recommend it.

Many non-solid state laptops had problems with their fans, or ventilators having appropriate capacity to cool them. The dual fan chill mat keeps these poorly designed laptops from shutting down from overheating. They also help prevent permanent damage to such laptops.

Works great keep laptop much cooler doesn’t feel like your legs are burning while using laptop and is very quiet you don’t even realize that it’s on when using it.

This product by Targus is okay, I would say a little above average than other similar products you may see elsewhere. I've always trusted Targus for any laptop accessories and this Chill Mat gets the job done when my laptop gets hot. It's very quiet and not obtrusive - depending on how big your laptop is, mine is an older 15" 2011 MacBook Pro. For laptops that are 13" or so, the Chill Mat will most likely stick out and make your laptop look smaller, but the two fans will still keep your laptop cool. I would like a product that pushes more airflow out which is why I gave it four stars, but I purchased this knowing what I was getting (two fans). Very quiet, would recommend for those planning to put this on their desk!

I like the Chill Mat but I would have preferred if the power port was on the side for easier access to the laptop's usb plug and possibly an on/off switch instead of having to plug it or unplug it every time i want the fan on. Overall it keeps my laptop cool and I like it.
