The fan is great in the way it works. You simply plug it into your computer port and that's how it gets its power, so you don't need extra plug ins. It even keeps the built in fan on your computer from having to kick on at all, which is great because you don't have to worry about it wearing out, or your computer burning up. The only thing that bothers me about it, is that it doesn't snap onto the bottom of the computer at all, so it's just like sitting your laptop on a tray, and it's up to you to keep the trays together, so it's kinda of bulky and slides around when you move, which is a pain, but a necessary evil to keep my laptop alive. Overall a great product for the money.

A cool running system is a good running syatem. Works as it should!

I bought the fan to cool my Dish DVR that was running hot and shutting down. The DVR hasn't shutdown since putting the fan under the DVR.

The Dual Fan Chill Mat Cooling System works great for my computer because the vents are at the bottom. This gives my computer an air space and the fan also helps keep it cool.

This "chill mat" is an excellent product & does exactly what it's supposed to do - Keep my wife's laptop from burning the top of her legs when she's using her laptop on her lap.

Previous unit had only one fan, this model has two fans that help cool the laptop battery.

This fits under my laptop great and seems to work well. Happy with this product.
