Does its job and keeps my laptop cool. Definitely would recommend.

Bought this for our son's Apple lap top. Keeps it cool and running great for extended periods of time. He does lots of college class work on his computer.

I suppose it helps keep a laptop slighly cooler. The only real advantage I see is that it gives the laptop a flat surface to rest on. The fans are so weak, it doesn't really help push air out. For that reason, I give it a 3 star. I've put my hand on the laptop fan exhaust with this on and off, I found no significant change. If you are couch gaming or in the bed, and your laptop is potentially starved for air, this would be a helpful and welcomed accessory. If you use a table each time you use your laptop, particularly for heat generation, you don't really need this. For mining with a laptop (not sure why you would do this), there are 1,000 other fans I could recommend over this laptop cooler (aka flat platform).

This fan does a good job of keeping my laptop from overheating. It's also very quiet.

There isn't a whole lot to say - it's got a really open structure and high flow rate. I can work with my laptop on my legs and it doesn't overheat. Rad.

Bought this laptop cooler to keep my Marantz receiver cool. Plugged it in using the usb port on the back and it seems to working well. It is running much cooler now.

Perfect. Barely makes noise - uses very little of my computer battery. Comfortable when its resting on my legs.

Helps cool down my older laptop cause it gives off a lot of heat.

Seemed decent at first, but it started to rattle after a time, and then one of the fans died. The design doesnt keep debris from getting into the fan, so they can fail a bit prematurely.

I use this under a laptop that is used as a desktop with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard as well as an external monitor. It works perfect. My laptop stays cool.
