I had to be sure to place my laptop right over the fans to get any cooling down of the computer. I was looking for a mat to keep my computer cool while I was doing long hours on Zoom. The slanted design does not work well with my laptop

I read reviews of many computers in similar price range and chose this one. It packs a lot of benefits in a small desktop. The price was just what I was looking for. At first the cooler ran constantly, even if the computer was off. Needed to use a different adapter in one of the Thunderbolt ports. Now it works only when the computer is in use. Purchased this as replacement for another chill pad that had additional USB ports on it. It would have been nice to have at least one additional USB port on this Chill Mat.
