It makes quite a bit of noise and feels pretty cheap. I'll probably end up getting another one, not this brand though.

I use it with my Macbook Pro while it's in my lap and notice the difference with my computer not running as hot (which is good).

My work laptop has a 14" screen, and it just fits on the mat. I purchased this to keep my personal 17" laptop cool when I have it sitting on my lap. However my work laptop is barely kept cooler using this mat. I purchased this on sale, so I feel it is okay for the price, but just okay.
